Fans love to see interviews with their favorite celebs, getting to know them off-camera. Certain celebs like Dakota Johnson and Leslie Mann love to have during interviews, however, that doesn't always hold true for others.

That's especially true when personal questions are brought up. Robert Pattinson's team stepped in when Kristen Stewart was mentioned by Ryan Seacrest.

The same held true for Cameron Diaz, who decided to end her interview when close friend Drew Barrymore's past addiction issues were brought up.

We're not entirely sure how valid Harris' claims were, as according to Ora, things got complicated between the two when working with one another on a professional level.

“There was a reason why I split up with him,” Ora recalled. “And there was a reason why I’m at this point in my life where I feel like I have so much musical freedom, and I don’t have to explain myself to anybody… It was more of a thing where I was in awe. I was at that point in my relationship where I felt he could do no wrong.”

“I thought he had my back and that he’d never steer me wrong. But then ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ came out, and everything started to go a bit weird. I don’t know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what.”

According to other speculation, Harris was avoiding the release of certain songs the two had worked on together. When asked if the claims were valid, Rita Ora simply walked out of the interview...

Ora revealed that Calvin Harris owned the rights to, I Will Never Let You Down. Now according to Ora, the producer barred her from using the song.

She revealed alongside Ryan Seacrest, “For anybody who doesn’t understand how it works, he wrote and produced the song."

“So, he has to approve anything TV-wise. … And obviously he owns the rights to it and he didn’t approve the Teen Choice Awards.”

During her interview alongside The Associated Press, Ora clearly wasn't ready to discuss the matter to the public.

The interviewer asks, "There's been a lot of rumors between Calvin Harris and not releasing some of your stuff." Ora responded by cutting the interview short, saying "Thank you, bye."

We can't blame Ora for sidestepping the question, as not only was it personal, but it was also business-related and could have further complicated things between herself and Harris.

Finally, years later, Harris finally addressed his side of the story, claiming there was no truth to not releasing the artist's music.

It was a tweet that finally prompted a response from Calvin Harris. A fan took a bold stance, claiming that the producer was responsible for ruining Ora's career.

They wrote, "A reminder that if rita’s calvin harris produced second album (i will never let you down was the first of MANY tracks) hadn’t been torpedoed she would have probably been one of the biggest pop stars in the world for like 2 years, i have never gotten over it."

Harris finally ended the gossip. He tweeted in response, “Entire thing is a myth, there is one unreleased song i worked on and it isn’t good.”

Rumors would also make mention that Harris and his team were giving the content intended for Ora, over to Rihanna. Nonetheless, Ora didn't make anything of those rumors, claiming that it was yet another instance of the media trying to start a feud between two stars.

“I can’t speak for other people but I think publicly they always put women against each other. I’ve been nothing but a fan and respectful of her and I always will be.”
