The Riverdale star is opening up about her self love journey.

Lili Reinhart is a household name today, thanks to the success of Riverdale...but the young actor has been a role model for much longer. She has been transparent with her fans about feeling trapped during pandemic-imposed restrictions, and been vocal about the toxic effects social media can have on a person.

Lili Reinhart Is Comfortable In Her Own Skin

Merely a day after announcing her new project, Plus/Minus, Reinhart took to Twitter to discuss the importance of self-love, and tell her fans they couldn't outrun their demons.

The actor implored her followers to face their problems and work on themselves by leaning into pain, because "that is how you heal and grow".

Reinhart reflected on the usual understanding of being happy, sharing how people used vacations and relationships to "fill a void" and they should "use this pandemic as an opportunity to grow".

"If you don't take the time to get to know yourself, that's a wasted opportunity," the actor shared.

She added: "You can learn to fall in love with yourself and your own experiences."

Lili Reinhart has often publicly discussed her struggles with mental health, and her tweets suggest the actor has taken time out to spend some time in her own company. During the lockdown period, Lili openly talked about gaining weight and being an emotional eater.

The actor continued motivating her followers in another set of tweets. "I think the most important thing we can all do is try to love ourselves," she revealed.

Reinhart was surely speaking from experience when she said "it's a lot of hard work and it can be scary", adding that every cloud did have a silver lining.

She concluded, "the end result is priceless. I promise."

The actor's fans were in awe of her tweets, and left emotional replies in the comments section.
