Many celebrities have spouses that we’ve never heard of. These stars love people outside of the industry and being with non-stars allows celebs to keep some semblance of balance. The life of a celebrity is challenging enough without balancing two high profile careers and a family, but some families manage to make it work...and even thrive on it.

Patricia Maya Azarcoya Schneider is the beautiful wife of former SNL comic, Rob Schneider. His wife is a quadruple threat talent who has enjoyed success via producing, modeling, writing, and acting. It turns out she’s a pretty good cook, too, who shares her foodie talents with the world!

The star began her work in the industry in Mexico, before moving to the U.S. First gaining fame with American audiences because of her relationship (and subsequent marriage), she soon found she had a following of her own. This was thanks to her social media presence and her highly-regarded performance on the family’s show, The Real Rob.

Despite choosing a life in the public eye, which has become more publicized because of their Netflix show, Patricia remains private about many aspects of her life. Here’s everything you need to know about the vibrant mother-of-two and stepmother, Patricia Maya Azarcoya Schneider.

14 The Model From Mexico

Patricia began her career in the spotlight as a model in her home country of Mexico. After she established herself in the industry, she was able to move onto other projects, including roles on TV shows and in films. She later moved to the U.S., where her career and romantic life really took off.

13 Birthday And Origin TBD

Patricia has always been very vague about two elements of her personal life. While she’s implied from time to time that she came from a family who struggled to make ends meet, she’s said little else about her origins. In addition to this, she has never confirmed her date of birth - however many have 'guesstimated' that she was born sometime in the mid-1980s.

12 Her Producer Beginnings

Most of Patricia’s work prior to her marriage to Rob was Spanish language programming. Her most notable work includes the TV series', El pelado de la noche, Guerra De Chistes, Que show con Alejandra Bogue, CuentameLove, El show del Polaco, and El monchis. More recently, she began working as a writer, through her work on the show, The Real Rob.

11 Romancing Rob

Patricia met Rob while she was producing a television show he was working on. The two began dating and, after six years together as a couple, they tied the knot in a ceremony on April 23, 2011.

Rob said of their big day and private Beverly Hills ceremony, “Patricia and I were surrounded by our closest friends and family; it was the happiest day of my life. We had a great time at the wedding and are looking forward to our honeymoon”, according to She Knows.

10 The Age Difference

Rob Schneider is 56 years old, and while his wife, Patricia, likes to keep her age a secret, it’s speculated that she’s somewhere between 30 and 35 years old - so, at least 21 years his junior. It isn’t that uncommon for a 20 plus year age difference, particularly in Hollywood; however, it is a little jarring knowing that his daughter, Elle, is practically the same age as Patricia.

9 Her Net Worth

Like many things in Patricia’s life, she likes to keep her personal assets and properties out of the public eye. It’s estimated that she’s worth around a million dollars on her own. Add in her husband’s net worth of 15 million dollars and their family is clearly very comfortable. She doesn’t have to work again unless she wants to, and either does Rob.

8 They Said It Wouldn't Last...

Marriages with celebrities and big age differences may be more challenging to keep together - add in two other past marriages and things get even dicier. Rob’s marriage to Patricia is his third marriage, although they’ve managed to make it work for nearly a decade. Maybe this marriage will last forever.

7 From SNL To Reality TV

Rob Schneider’s comedic background lends itself well to the mockumentary style of his faux ‘reality TV show’. Since most people knew from the get-go that the show featured his entire family, it blurred the lines between reality TV and situational comedy. The show has received lackluster reviews from many, but overall, it is a mildly entertaining show to binge over a weekend on Netflix.

6 Outshining Her Star Husband

When season two of The Real Rob came out, it became wildly obvious who the big star was -Patricia. In a show that follows in the footsteps of Louie and Curb Your Enthusiasm, Rob is a low-key version of the off-putting stereotypical caricatures he plays in many of his film roles. One of the things that can be attributed to this newfound likability is the addition of Patricia.

5 What About The Children?

Elle King has made more of an effort to spend time with her dad and stepmom in recent years. She hasn’t always been tight with her father and things have even been strained. She said, “I was born out of a Vegas marriage: My parents got married three days after they met. Soon as I was 18, I took on my mom's (model London King) last name because she raised me, and I wanted to be my own person." Keep scrolling to see Elle for yourself!

4 Making A Blended Family Work

It seems that Patricia’s influence has Rob putting family first. It also doesn’t hurt that he’s now an established household name who can pick and choose projects as he sees fit. Just the same, Elle King, confided to People Magazine that it was her half-sisters that brought everyone close together.

King said, “I wanted my sisters to have good memories of me from their childhood when they grew. Family really is so important. So, through that, me just kind of showing up and trying to be good for them, really made it easy because there were no bad motives. When it’s about the kids, the bulls— kind of goes away. I love him.”

3 Her Activism Work

Patricia is proud of her Mexican heritage and uses her celebrity to support causes that she believes in...and her home country. While Rob has focused most of his efforts on music-related charities, Patricia worked with her hubby to raise funds for earthquake relief in Mexico.

Other causes Patricia backs include Penny Lanes (this organization helps families and veterans facing homelessness) and The San Fernando Valley Refugee Children Center.

2 Getting Social With Patricia

Being significantly younger than her husband, Patricia knows that social media is an important part of her personal brand. She has amassed nearly 17K followers on Twitter and 68.8K followers on her verified Instagram account. Check out her online presence to see what she’s cooking, what brands she’s promoting, and her #momlife TikTok videos.

1 What's Next?

At one point, Netflix confirmed The Real Rob Season 3, with an estimated release in 2019, featuring writing and acting talents from Patricia and Rob, but it hasn’t popped up on anyone’s streaming just yet. During the pandemic, Patricia is posting about homeschooling her kids, cooking, and keeping it together, just like everyone else.
