Schneider made it clear, she would have never married the late actor had he been the same way he was on television and films.

“Robin and I loved to go to museums together. He was a big history buff, so he would bring the history and I would bring the art side and we would double our fun. People tend to assume that the guy he was on stage was the guy he was at home, and let me make it clear: I would never marry somebody like that."

As for how the relationship began between the two, it was totally random back in 2007.

Entering the Apple Store, Susan stared down a man who had a pretty darn close resemblance to Robin Williams. Before leaving the store, she had to look over one more time. In that moment, Williams smiled back and as they say, the rest is history.

Schneider retells the moment, "I walked in and saw this man and I thought: ‘I think that’s Robin Williams.’ Then on my way out I happened to look at him again and he was smiling at me and something inside me said: ‘Oh, just go over and say hi.’ He was wearing camouflage print so I said: ‘How’s that camo working out for you?’ And he said: ‘Not too good – you found me.’”

Following the initial encounter, the two married four years later in 2011.

Sadly, Robin passed away in August of 2014.
