It appears as though Alec Baldwin is making the most of his fatherhood journey. Fans also want to know: what kind of family he has and a little more about his son Romeo Alejandro David Baldwin.

Alec and Hilaria's Love Story

Alec had an on-and-off romance with actress Lori Singer from 2006 to 2010. But when the actor ended everything with Singer, he met his future wife: Hilaria Thomas, a yoga instructor 25 years younger than him. In 2012, the two tied the knot.

The wedding ceremony was in New York, and the couple has lived happily together since then. Baldwin and Thomas welcomed six children: daughter Carmen Gabriela was born in 2013, sons Rafael Thomas and Leonardo Ángel Charles saw the light in 2015 and 2016 accordingly, the next baby, Romeo Alejandro David, appeared in 2018, and in 2020, the family shared joyful news again: Hilaria was pregnant. In September, the fifth child of the couple was born. It was a boy named Eduardo Pau Lucas. The pair recently welcomed their sixth child, daughter María Lucía Victoria.

Everything We Know About Romeo Alejandro David Baldwin

Rome, as he's called, was born on May 17 of 2018. Before he was born, Hilaria and Alec referred to him as Diego but finally changed his name. Her big sister, Carmen, also suggested some names for the fourth baby. However, all the family agreed that Romeo was the best fit.

This little guy has a promising career ahead of him, especially in music. He likes playing guitar and singing. Rome is a happy, sweet, and healthy toddler.

When he was 4-month-old, Hilaria carried him in a camouflage pouch while attending a Film Festival with her husband Alec Baldwin in New York. At that time, the 34-year-old yoga instructor donned a black long-sleeved top, black leggings, and matching shoes at the Hamptons International Film Festival opening, posing it up on the carpet with her hubby and looking stunning.

Getting In Shape Again After Romeo's Birth

Hilaria took to Instagram to share how her body bounced back after the pregnancy, writing, "The recovery from baby number 4 continues." She also shared a ton of pics of her baby bump before giving birth in May of 2018. In June of that year, she was accused of photoshopping images of her body, prompting her to share a video of her fit figure.

She captioned the clip, "For those who are saying I photoshopped...how about this?"

When Romeo was born, Alec and Hilaria already had three children: five-year-old daughter Carmen, three-year-old son Rafael, and two-year-old son Leonardo.

Interview With Alec and Hilaria Before Romeo Was Born

Entertainment Tonight caught up with lovebirds in May of 2018, right before Romeo was born. Hilaria said, "We're going to have three boys and a girl. Our daughter tells us every day that she's going to have a little sister after this one, so I'm traumatized by that." When asked if she wanted to have another baby, Hilaria replied, "Mommy doesn't even want to think about another one right now, but we'll see."

Alec added, "we can't afford it." But what they never imagined is that the other two babies would be coming on the way.

Hilaria Baldwin's Accent Controversy

Hilaria was recently accused of misrepresenting her heritage. This all started back in December of 2020 when someone on Twitter posted a long thread about Hilaria faking her Spanish heritage for years. However, she is trying to clear any misconceptions about her identity.

The yoga and health entrepreneur returned to social media with an apology after a month-long hiatus after being accused of pretending to be from Spain and faking her accent.

Through an Instagram post, Hilaria revealed that she had spent some time 'listening' and 'reflecting,' adding, "My parents raised my brother and me with two cultures, American and Spanish, and I feel a true sense of belonging to both. The way I've spoken about myself and my deep connection to two cultures could have been better explained ― I should have been more clear, and I'm sorry."

The 37-year-old facing criticism online last December when viral tweets called her out for "presenting herself as Spanish when in fact she was born and raised in Boston by American parents."

Hilaria says she spent much of her childhood visiting Spain and denies the accusations. She also defended changing her name to Hilaria. Her husband has been coming to her defense and taking issue with the criticism.

Once known as Hillary, the mom of six says she changed her name to Hilaria before meeting Alec. The only thing people know for sure is that Hilaria loves Spanish culture.
