No stranger to controversy, '90s sitcom star Roseanne Barr is getting some attention again. This time it's not for making racially insensitive remarks that ultimately got her show cancelled - but it might be racial insensitivity of another kind.

Because Roseanne's been out of the spotlight for a few months following the cancellation of the 'Roseanne' show reboot, it's taken a while for her social media presence to reach the mainstream again. Her latest IG post is from January 10, but hundreds of people are talking about it now - and we can see why.

The post in question shows Roseanne basking in the sunlight of her garden, her head wrapped in a scarf turban with greyish black dreadlocks curling down to her hips. Her natural hair is usually worn straight and short, so fans were surprised to say the least.

It's unclear whether Roseanne's new 'do is her own hair or a wig, as the star is no stranger to posting pics of herself in wigs of all kinds. Real or not, the dreads got people talking in her comments section.

Roseanne's own son commented "Bruh," which her followers took as an expression of confusion and disapproval. Responses to his comment included laughing emojis, thumbs ups, and "I'm so sorry your mom is losing her mind."

"Is this the new Pirates of the Caribbean?" one follower asked, with others adding comments like "I thought this was Lisa Bonet" and "OH NOOO BABY what are you DOIN??" We'd also like to know!
