Terrifying rottweilers are a lot less scary when they show off their softer side by singing along with a child’s nursery rhymes.

Rottweilers might usually play the big, mean dog on TV and movies, but in reality, they’re almost all the biggest softies you’ve ever met. They love to play, they love to cuddle, and they love to sing along with children when they bust out into song.

Well, that last one is a bit of a rare gift, but we’ve got one video that at least proves the softer side of man’s biggest and baddest friend.

But where are our manners? Let’s introduce you to Coco, a giant rottweiler judging the by the fact that he towers over the little girl featured in the video. We don’t know her name, although we do know the name of her father: Dan Cena, who’s the owner of the YouTube channel this video was posted to.

As for Coco, we’re making a bit of the assumption based on the name written on the collar.

Anywhoodle, our little girl maestro starts us off with a rendition of “Baa Baa Black Sheep” that seems pretty on key, at least until Coco chimes in. They’re howling eventually breaks the little girl’s concentration until she loses her place. That’s when she switches to “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”.

But before the switch over there’s a brief pause where both girl and Coco say absolutely nothing. It’s a pregnant pause where neither side seems to know what the other will do next. And then she launches into “Little Star” with Coco not missing a beat. Their howls start up just as soon as the little girl opens her mouth for the very first “twinkle”.

Coco doesn’t seem to overpower the little girl either--they crank up the volume when it’s musically appropriate, and keeps things lower key when they’re singing in harmony.

It should be noted that despite the name and breed of the dog, Coco did not rip the little girl’s face off at any point. This is what the mainstream media seems to think Rottweilers are all about, but that’s a blatant falsehood.

As you can see, Rottweilers are the biggest sweethearts that just want to sing. Let them bear their heart, and you’ll have a musical friend for life.
