Actor Ryan Dorsey has been accused of setting up paparazzi shots as he visited ex-wife Naya Rivera's grave site.

The sighting came on what would have been the late actress' 34th birthday, Tuesday.

Dorsey 37, arrived to Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles with five bright yellow flowers in his hand. placing them inside two vases mounted beside Rivera's headstone.

On the Forest Lawn Cemetery, visitor guidelines state:

"No commercial or professional photography is allowed under any circumstances without the express written consent of Forest Lawn."

Dorsey exited the cemetery with a face mask in hand and sunglasses over his eyes.

He was married to Naya from 2014 until their divorce in 2018.

He is now raising their son with Naya's sister Nickayla - something that has also been criticized for.

"This is not the time or place for a photo opportunity. Disgraceful!!!" one person wrote after the pictures of Dorsey appeared online.

"He definitely call them. It would seem odd that they would just be sitting around a graveyard?" a second added.

"And the paparazzi just happened to be waiting outside a cemetery? I feel for the guy and their little boy, but this is a set-up photo opportunity. If he wanted to privately pay his respects, he would have privately paid his respects," a third chimed in.

After paying his respects, Dorsey uploaded a black-and-white family snapshot to Instagram, featuring himself, Rivera, and their five-year-old son Josey.

Sharing a photo of himself and Rivera with their child, Dorsey wrote on Instagram: "Just as surreal as it is real that you're gone. If that makes sense, but none of this still makes any sense…34, I could just hear you saying 'Ah, I'm old AF now!' Ha…Rest easy old lady."

In the black and white snap, Rivera cradles her son as Dorsey leans in and takes the picture.

Rivera passed away during a boating trip with her only son Josey. The tragic accident happened in Lake Piru in Ventura County, north-east of Los Angeles.
