Getting in the good graces of Marvel is an amazing way to have your career take off. Sure, the studio has had friction with people before, but one you're in, things can change for the better instantly. Whether you're already a big name, or on the cusp of breaking out, Marvel can set anyone up for success.

Sebastian Stan took his career to another level with his MCU work, and he's made sure to chip away at drastically different projects, too. In fact, Stan has an upcoming A24 film with a lot of buzz, and he recently debuted his big transformation for the project.

In the years since breaking out and becoming a recognizable performer, Sebastian Stan has developed into one of the mist likable guys in the industry. The man has outdone himself on the big and small screen, and as of now, things are only getting better for him.

The actor took some time to really get things going, but he found early success in projects like Gossip Girl and Hot Tub Time Machine.

Things, however, began to rapidly change after Stan was cast as Bucky Barnes in the MCU. While he's done loads of work outside the franchise, it's easy to see that his time with Marvel has been instrumental in him becoming a global star.

So far, Stan has appeared in 9 different MCU projects, with his most recent appearances coming in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and What If...?.

The actor has done an exceptional job of building up his career, and when looking ahead, he has some great things in the works.

He Has Some Major Projects On Tap

Over on IMDb, we can see that Sebastian Stan has several projects on tap.

This year, he still has Sharper set for release. That project features names like Justice Smith, John Lithgow, and Julianne Moore, and the project's logline reads "a con artist takes on Manhattan's billionaires"

Stan is also tabbed to star in The Brutalist. That project is still in the pre-production phase, with a logline that reads, "An architect emigrates to the United States in 1947 and spends the next three decades developing his masterpiece."

The Brutalist is also set to star Vanessa Kirby, Joel Edgerton, and Marion Cotillard.

Of course, there's no way of ignoring the fact that a new Captain America film, dubbed New World Order, is also coming out in the future. Stan is not officially attached to that project, but given what happened in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, we can't imagine Bucky Barnes being absent.

Recently, Stan debuted his character from another upcoming movie that has a lot of potential.

He New Look For A24's 'A Different Man'

According to Variety, "Behold Sebastian Stan like you’ve never seen him before. The actor debuted a first look photo on Instagram from his upcoming indie drama “A Different Man” that stunned fans. Stan plays a man with neurofibromatosis who undergoes facial reconstructive surgery, only to become obsessed with an actor starring as him in a play based on his life. “The Worst Person in the World” breakout Renate Reinsve and “Under the Skin” actor Adam Pearson star alongside Stan."

A24 is the studio bringing the movie to life, meaning that fans are expecting a certain level of quality from the film. After all, the studio is known for their exceptional work, and clearly, Stan has the chops for this role.

The site also gave some production information about the project.

"The drama, written and directed by Aaron Schimberg, is currently in production in New York City. Paparazzi photos from the set first revealed Stan’s shocking transformation in the movie. The actor then released an official first look of his prosthetics-driven turn on Instagram. Stan is also executive producing the project," the wrote.

It's a totally new look for Stan, and it's refreshing to see the actor venturing into other genres. He's done such fantastic work as the Winter Soldier with Marvel, and he seems intent on proving that he's more than just a superhero star.

His work in Hulu's Fresh, for instance was a brilliant change of pace, and that film earned some solid reviews for the star.

It will be some time before we get to see Sebastian Stan star in A Different Man, and if his performance is half as good as this prosthetic work, then this movie should be fantastic.
