'Throuples' seem to be all the rage nowadays. They're everywhere in pop culture, including in the latest season of HBO Max's Gossip Girl. But there is even talk of A-lister Selena Gomez being in one herself. After all, she said so herself... albeit likely extremely tongue-in-cheek.
Still, there have been numerous images of Selena getting awfully cozy with Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz. According to People, they even took a luxurious holiday together to ring in 2023. Very little is known about the true relationship between Selena Gomez, Nicola Peltz, and Brooklyn Beckham, except for the fact that they can't seem to get enough of each other.

The Bates Motel star and daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz has been all over Selena Gomez's Instagram feed recently. As has her husband, the son Victoria and David Beckham. But the recently married couple has also been quite consistent about publicly showing off their friendship with the "Hands To Myself" singer and former Disney Channel star.
If you feel like this extremely close friendship has come out of nowhere, you're likely not alone. After all, Selena has been fairly open about which celebrities she keeps in her inner circle. Particularly after her apparent snub of the celebrity who gave her a kidney.
Regardless of who is and isn't in Selena Gomez's inner circle of famous friends, it's clear that Nicola and Brooklyn appear to be relatively new additions. And, like a new relationship, it appears Selena's connection with them is in the honeymoon phase. Their photos prove that they simply can't get enough of each other.
Selena, Nicola, and Brooklyn's recent New Years' trip to Mexico isn't the first time they've been photographed together. Nicola even posted images to her Instagram feed celebrating the release of Selena Gomez's revealing AppleTV+ documentary back in early November 2022.
In the images, Nicola and Selena cozied up in matching pink PJs alongside a number of their girlfriends. According to Hello Magazine, Brooklyn made them cocktails and then bounced to let them have a proper girls' night.
For the past few months, it seems Selena Gomez has seen a lot of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz. As for how she actually met the couple and allowed their friendship to blossom the way it has -- at the time of this writing, we simply don't know.
Is Selena Gomez In A Throuple With Brooklyn Beckham And Nicola Peltz?
In a collection of somewhat intimate, New Years' Eve images posted to Instagram, Selena Gomez may have unintentionally sparked a rumor about the true dynamic between her, Brooklyn Beckham, and Nicola Peltz. According to People, Selena wrote "Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone" as the caption for the images. Nicola commented on the image too, simply saying, "Facts".
Most of the images gave fans an inside look at their lavish joint vacation to Los Cabos, Mexico. There, the three of them hung around in bathing suits and jumped off the deck of a rather luxurious yacht. They then rang in the start of 2023 with sparklers, cigars, champagne, and a bunch of other close friends, including Selena's bestie Raquelle Stevens.
In reality, there's very little likelihood that Selena Gomez is actually in a three-way relationship with Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz. They just appear to be extremely close, platonic, friends.
It's easy (yet not entirely absurd) to speculate that something more has gone down between them. But no solid facts support this claim. On the part of some of those who commented about their "Throuple" on Reddit or Instagram, this simply seems to be wish fulfillment.
However, Selena didn't exactly quell the rumors when she posted images of her and Nicola in matching minidresses and "angel" tattoos. "Angel" appears to be what the two women call each other.
"I love you my angel forever!!!" Nicola wrote in the comment section under an image Selena posted of the two of them.
Over the years, there has been near-endless speculation about the true nature of Selena Gomez's love life. This "throuple" thing with Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz appears to be the latest rumor to not hold any water.
