Australian singer Sia has tweeted her support for FKA twigs.

FKA twigs is currently suing actor Shia LaBeouf for sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress.

"I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single," alleged Sia, 44.

"I believe he's very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away," she added of Shia, 34.

"Also I love you ⁦@FKAtwigs," added Sia in another tweet, writing: "This is very courageous and I'm very proud of you."

After meeting on the set of Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac in 2013LaBeouf was in a relationship with Mia Goth.

They were even said to be married at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel in October 2016.

The Transformers actor even went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and confirmed the union. However Clark County contended that the event was not a legal marriage.

Around this time, LaBeouf starred in Sia's music video for Elastic Heart. LaBeouf starred in the controversial video opposite Dance Mom's star Maddie Ziegler.

Shortly thereafter his representative told People magazine: "Shia and Mia have filed for divorce."

"The separation is amicable and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private."

However, Shia and Mia were spotted sharing a kiss on a park bench in March of this year while wearing their wedding bands.

FKA twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, claims in her suit that he knowingly gave her an STD and relentlessly abused her during their relationship.

Fans were surprised by Sia's admission of a relationship with Shia and deeply disturbed by his conduct.

"Wow. Sia sure kept her and Shia a secret! I think he's a very disturbed man maybe fame so young damaged him but he needs help , and to acknowledge what he's done - he's lost a stunning career, ruined every relationship descended into alcoholism he needs to sort himself out," one fan wrote.

"Men like this shouldn't be able to succeed in Hollywood. Just need to reflect back on his horrid timeline of events," another added.

"A shame he's like that, I used to watch Even Stevens when I was 10/11 and thought he was funny. Sometimes I wonder if the reason he is the way he is is because of Disney and Hollywood mistreating or abusing him as a kid like most other child stars or if he's just like this on his own?" a third wondered.
