10 Sick Cars And 7 Beaters Of The Avengers Cast In Real Life

Unless you have been living under an immovable rock for the past decade, you might be familiar with the Marvel Cinematic Universe which has had more than 20 movies over the span of 10 years starred by a lot of Hollywood's most bankable actors.

Kicked off by Robert Downey Jr. with the very first Iron Man movie way back in 2008 and culminated in an epic fashion in the form of Avengers: Endgame with the addition of a number of other stars from different stories. Now that it has been weeks after Endgame was released, directors, Anthony and Joe Russo have officially decreed that the spoiler ban has been lifted and it would only be fitting to honor them with our acknowledgment.

Let's take a look at some of the vehicles our favorite superhero characters, shall we?

17 Sick: Robert Downey Jr – Audi E-Tron GT Concept

via CNBC

We start off this list with a car that represents RDJ’s Tony Stark quite well. He even drove up to Avengers HQ in an Audi E-Tron GT in Avengers: Endgame. The only thing that bothers RDJ about this cool ride is the fact that it can’t fly like one of his on-screen suits.

16 Sick: Jeremy Renner – Mercedes-Benz W113 Pagoda

via justjared

He was the biggest star in the Avengers’ lineup back when the very first Avengers movie was released; RDJ was a risk, Evans just got off a failed superhero movie, Hemsworth was a relatively unknown Aussie actor, and Tom Hiddleston didn’t get much exposure before. Only Renner starred in major blockbusters in the past with his attendance in Mission Impossible which is where he probably got his cash to by this cool W113 Pagoda he was seen driving.

15 Sick: Bradley Cooper – Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG

via carzone

You won’t see Bradley Cooper’s face anywhere in any Marvel movie since he plays a CGI raccoon named Rocket. When you do hear Rocket Raccoon speak, it’s undeniably Bradley Cooper’s voice is the one that you hear. He drives around in a timeless G-Wagon AMG that could give a lightweight, purebred sports car a run for its money at a drag strip.

14 Sick: Chadwick Boseman – Lexus LC 500H

via justjared

Chadwick Boseman did well to bring the title’s namesake on the big screen and nailing his hard accent. Chadwick knows what he wants in a car; an environmentally friendly one, fast, good looking, modern, and most of all – interesting. The LC 500H makes other EV look boring, like a plate of scrambled eggs against a full English breakfast, not the best analogy but the LC 500H really is that good of an electric vehicle.

13 Sick: Sebastian Stan – Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8

via twitter

His vintage Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 must be an absolute joy to drive especially with the top down. We do hope his restored classic has period correct parts and wearing period-correct clothing definitely would not hurt. Fashion in the '60s was amazing after all and Sebastian’s vibe would fit right into the look! We will surely see more of Bucky Barnes AKA Winter Soldier in the coming Marvel films.

12 Sick: Anthony Mackie – Chevrolet Corvette

via superchevy

With Steve Rogers handing down his red blue and white shield to Sam Wilson at the end of Avengers: Endgame, the war vet will soon bring the famous shield to battle in Phase 4 of the MCU and it could not get any ‘Murican than a V8 Corvette!

11 Sick: Tom Hiddleston – Jaguar F-Type

via wikimedia

Mr. Hiddleston is a brand ambassador for Jaguar and he has a gorgeous F-Type to prove it. Fans were sad to bid farewell to Loki in the first few minutes of Avengers: Infinity War, what made his departure worse was the fact that he just had a major breakthrough with Thor at the end of Thor: Ragnarok. At least we have new characters that were introduced in the latest Thor movie like Korg and Meek to alleviate the situation with comedic antics.

10 Sick: Don Cheadle – Jaguar E-Type

via sharpmagazine

Don Cheadle’s aptly named War Machine character in Avengers is sort of like Falcon to Captain America, a sidekick – if you may. He drives a classic Jaguar E-Type in real life that looks like a James Bond villain’s automobile of choice. The car looks sexy though with its long and flowing lines and curves reminiscent of wide hips.

9 Sick: Robert Downey Jr – Porsche 993

via twitter

Of course, a character as eccentric as Robert Downey Jr. would have a Porsche. His silver 911 993 is a great collector’s item since it is the last of the production Porsches to ever have an air-cooled engine; what is a '90s era Porsche without that raspy sound we’ve all come to know and love after all?

8 Sick: Chris Evans – 1967 Camaro

via twitter

RDJ and Chris Evans have built up a strong friendship over the last few years of making superhero movies together and we know without a shadow of a doubt that these two blokes have tons of fun while on set. The former had a fully built 1967 Camaro customized for Chris through a custom shop called SpeedKore which was even featured in an episode of Jay Leno’s Garage.

7 Beater: Chris Pratt – 1965 Volkswagen Beetle

via pinterest

One can say that everything in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame happened because of Peter Quill or Star-Lord if he just held on to his cool during their fateful fight against the Mad Titan. Chris Pratt plays Peter Quill astonishingly well; he puts in just the right amount of teenage angst, arrogance, and comedy in the character. His restored 1965 VW Beetle is a great example of a simple guy’s love for cars as it took him a dozen years to complete and a lot of cash to do so.

6 Beater: Vin Diesel – GMC Yukon

via factinate

You might know Vin Diesel as the bald, muscular dude in the Fast And Furious franchise but he is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well. Why haven’t you seen his face on screen – you ask? Well, he was actually the voice of Groot in Guardians Of The Galaxy much like Bradley Cooper is to Rocket Raccoon. The only difference is Vin Diesel only had a single line in the entire movie; a single line that he said numerous times at that. Vin has a plethora of cool cars in his garage so it would be much memorable for us to note that he has an incredibly mundane and boring GMC Yukon at his disposal.

5 Beater: Chris Hemsworth – Cadillac SRX

via pinterest

Thor Odinson’s choice of transportation would definitely be flying but the real Chris Hemsworth would have a big, reliable SUV for carrying his children and groceries. His garage is largely made up of SUV’s like the snazzy Audi Q7 and an Acura MDX to name a couple, we are guessing the God Of Thunder is not much a fan of speed unlike his Avengers peers.

4 Beater: Zoe Saldana – Audi A8

via celebritycarsblog

An Audi A8 is a far cry from the incredible space ships she swoops around in but at least the Audi has leather seats and a comfy ride. Audi is not a stranger to product placement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tony Stark himself has had a few Audis on-screen; if it’s good enough for Iron Man, it’s good enough for Zoe Saldana.

3 Beater: Mark Ruffalo – BMW I3

via twitter

This is quite a small car for the actor who plays probably the strongest character in the Avengers’ line up. But the guy driving this BMW I3 is not the Hulk per se but Bruce Banner so in hindsight, it does make a lot of sense. More and more people are getting into electric vehicles as their automobiles which is great for the environment and all but quite frankly, there isn’t much fun driving them unless you’re behind the wheel of a Tesla, that is.

2 Beater: Evangeline Lilly – Ford Escape

via taddlr

She drives a relatively mundane Ford Escape. Not something the paparazzi would be too enthusiastic to snap a photo of, we presume. Her story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has yet come to an end so we will be seeing more of her in future installments of the massively popular movie franchise.

1 Beater: Elizabeth Olsen – Renault Espace

via gotceleb

Being the environmentally aware human being that she is, she rides a Renault Espace electric vehicle around town. Wanda Maximoff is a relatively new character in Marvel, she made her debut in the second installment of the Avengers as a villain but switched sides to the good guys. We hope we will be seeing more of her in the future in more Marvel movies.
