9 The Trailer Is Absolutely Amazing

Those already familiar with Sing know that, while the film is lighthearted and feel-good, some emotional moments are woven into the storyline. Sing 2 looks like it's set to follow the same idea - there are dreams to be chased and songs to be sung, and a lot of relationship and trust-building to happen along the way!

8 A Major Voice Actor Was Revealed

So we mentioned it above, but it's worth mentioning again -- the new adventures mean new characters for us to love. One of which is a major star!  Bono is joining the cast of Sing 2 in a major way! He's the 'it' star that everyone wants, but changes in his life have caused him to walk away from the spotlight. What, or who will be the voice that brings him back? Or will he walk away from it for good?

7 They're Chasing Dreams In The City Of Lights

The layout of the film is reminiscent of Las Vegas, which is quite relevant to the storyline. Redshore City is a dream for up-and-coming stars, and they're certainly going to be working hard to be on stage - but that won't happen without a bit of strife, first. The 'scout' looking for talent doesn't seem too easy to please; they'll have to work to make this dream a reality!

6 There's A New (Very Important) Mission

We mentioned Bono's character stepping away from the spotlight, but the journey to bring him back to it will be more important than just a shot at the big stage. It's clear that there's been a painful loss in his life, and while the team needs him for their shot at stardom, it looks like he might need them differently.

5 New Bonds Are Forming

With the addition of new characters comes new friendships and bonds to be formed. While some of these bonds won't come easy, some friendships seem to start with a giggle and shared interest in music and all that comes with it. Fans will be interested to see what the new characters bring to the table.

4 Friendships Will Be Tested

We all know Buster Moon has his eyes set on the prize, but it looks like feelings may end up hurt on the way to getting it. A few scenes in the trailer show that Buster may be looking closer at winning than he is at his pals. It'll likely be an important part of the plot, and we're sure it'll all be made right by the end.

3 Everyone Seems To Be Overcoming A Fear

From Calloway to Johnny and Rosita, there will be some moments in the film that address fear. When you're chasing a dream and going after something you hope to achieve, there will be moments where fear can, and will, rock you. We're sure there will be some inspiring moments in how these beloved characters overcome it!

A few scenes in the trailer already prove that this will be a movie you may need a couple of tissues to get through.

1 The Soundtrack Will Be Incredible

If you made it through the trailer without dancing, well, we'd love to know how. The first soundtrack is a staple to fans, and this one will be no different. The songs being performed are catchy and fun, and emotional. We are sure fans can expect an epic dance party in theaters with Sing 2!
