The Snoop Dogg Vs. Eminem battle is happening outside the rap world. It's unfolding in front of the media and very much in the public sphere, as a personal attack. The two are engaged in a heated diss war and have slung some dirty hits at one another in recent days. Showing no signs of slowing down, Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to try getting Eminem where it hurts the most. He's attacking his relationship with Dr. Dre.
Snoop Dogg posted a video that highlights his long-standing relationship with Dr. Dre - the man that gave Eminem his start and has subsequently become part of Eminem's inner circle. Somehow this rap family has turned against one another, and the more Snoop shoves his relationship with Dr. Dre in Eminem's face, the more Eminem's fans retaliate. They are shredding Snoop Dogg on his own social media channels, and they're not holding back when it comes to defending The Rap God.
Snoop Dogg Demonstrates Dr. Dre's Love
If fans have ever had any doubt about the bond that exists between Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, there should be no need to question it now. In what seems to be a feeble attempt to retaliate against Eminem, Snoop Dogg has put together a series of video clips to remind Eminem that he has a long-standing and deep history with Dr. Dre as well. Just in case Eminem gets too ahead of himself, Snoop Dogg wants the warning to go out, and he wants it to be loud and clear... Dr. Dre thinks the world of him, and they're allies.
The video Snoop Dogg posted depicts footage in which Dr. Dre can be heard declaring him as "family." At one point Dr. Dre said he couldn't imagine what his life would be like without Snoop Dogg being in it, and he went on to say that Snoop's album was the "foundation for the life that I'm living right now." He states that he and Snoop are always there for one another, never having told the other 'no' when a favor was needed. In an attempt to make it clear that Dr. Dre has a strong alliance with him, Snoop Dogg added one final blow at the end of the clip. Dr. Dre can be heard calling him the 'best lyricist.'
Snoop Dogg Becomes The Underdog
Sometimes even dogs get bitten, and it's fair to say this Snoop Dogg is under attack. That video was enough to ignite rage from Eminem's fans, and they tore a strip out of Snoop Dogg on his own social media channel. Vehemently defending Eminem's equally close relationship with Dr. Dre, his fans gave a strong reminder to Snoop that they, too, share a deep loyalty to one another.
If Snoop Dogg was trying to send a message to Eminem's fans that his can't be canceled, since he's tight with Dr. Dre, the message has definitely fallen flat. It seems Eminem can't be defeated. Snoop Dogg's page consists of hateful commentary posted by Em's fans, and includes comments such as; "Dude the way you did Em was wrong," and "you lose your prestige a little more day by day 🤷🏻♂️." Other fans wrote; "And you respond to Dre by dissing his friend and number one collaborator? Wtf is that." followed by; "Dre ain’t gonna save u from Eminem." One fan even taunted Snoop Dogg, writing; "you're in full damage control mode huh!?!😅 I thought you was gonna respond to ems soft ass diss tho!!what happened lol??", as someone else wrote; "Be careful not to answer Eminem, if you do you will be destroyed."
Snoop Dogg is not only losing this diss war, he's also quickly losing the respect of his fans.
