Khloé Kardashian has come under fire for appearing darker in her latest Instagram pictures.
In a recent post, the youngest Kardashian sister looks particularly tanned. Some social media users accused Khloé of blackfishing and heavily editing her pictures.
Khloé Kardashian Accused Of Blackfishing In Heavily Edited Pictures
Kardashian posted a few pictures to her Instagram grid to promote the new collection of her clothing brand, Good American.
However, some reacted to the snaps in ways Khloé would not have wanted. A few users accused her of heavily editing the pictures and trying to look Black.
The pictures were later reposted by celebrity gossip page @Deuxmoi.discussions where users took aim at Khloé’s editing.
“You ain’t that Brown sis,” one comment reads.
“Blackfishing and trying to look twenty,” another user says.
“Wow I'm half African and shes darker than me. Congrats,” one user notes.
“Here in India, people want their skin to be paler.... and the westerners out there be loading fake tan like hell. We all just need to be appreciative of what we have and meditate,” someone else writes.
Khloé is not the first Kardashian sister to have been accused of blackfishing and cultural appropriation. Kim was harshly criticized for wearing her hair in cornrows last year, to mention one of the most recent incidents involving the Armenian-American family.
“The face and the hand are two whole ass different ethnicities, the Kardashian/Jenner black-fishing is so damn insulting to women of color,” someone says.

As for Khloé’s pictures, some implied that she is heavily editing her own snaps due to insecurity issues.
“I mean the photo editing is obvious but jeez let her live. Poor thing obviously has self esteem issues. It’s sad to me,” one fan writes.
“I actually feel really bad for her. She spent years being called the ugly, fat sister. Always being compared to her older sisters, it must have taken a toll on her over time. It's sad seeing how completely recognisable she's become,” is another comment.
Some think that her dramatic on-again-off-again relationship with athlete Tristan Thompson, with whom Khloé shares a daughter, might be to blame. The couple has been at the center of persistent cheating rumors over the years.
In 2019, Thompson reportedly kissed Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods during a party. Woods addressed the rumor publicly and said she and Thompson only shared a quick kiss as she was leaving the house.
However, Khloé accused Woods of lying and tweeted the 23-year-old model was the reason her family had broken up. Kardashian also hinted at having dealt with Thompson privately.
“Tristan is equally to blame, but Tristan is the father of my child. Regardless of what he does to me, I won't do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY,” Kardashian tweeted at the time.
