Sock Handed Criminal Tries And Fails To Rob KFC

A man wearing socks on his hands tried to rob a KFC the other night and it ended in an epic failure.

The sock handed criminal walked into a Kentucky Fried Chicken in south Wichita, Kansas on Wednesday night around 8 p.m. He held up one of his sock hands and demanded the teenage girl working the cash register give him all the money in the register.

According to Officer Charley Davidson, who replied to the robbery call at the fast-food chain near Harry and Woodlawn, the employee did not comply. When the 17-year old girl refused to give the sock robber the money, he reportedly fled the scene. Police have described the suspect as a 6-foot, 220-pound black man in his 30s wearing a dark green zip-up hoodie, dark pants and white socks on his hands.

Ever since the story was posted on Reddit, users have been freaking out over the sock criminal and his epic robbery fail.

User pezko had the best line out of all the comments saying “Please tell me he spoke to the employees through them like sock puppets.-squeaky voice- "Hand over the money

If he did speak in a sock puppet voice, that would have made this crazy story even more ridiculously hilarious. There is no indication that is the way the robbery went down but it is funny to think about it.

Most of the other Reddit users simply commented things like “A for effort” and “ No fingerprints found at the scene.”

A sock handed criminal robbed the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Wichita the other night. Although it sounds funny, it was probably a very harrowing experience for the young employee who stood her ground and did not hand over the money. That girl deserves a raise or employee of the month or something for her actions.
