Soulja Boy`````` was engaged in some heated social media exchanges with Young Dolph days before his death, and as a result, those in charge of the Millennium Tour have temporarily removed him from their performance roster. In turn, Soulja Boy lashed out to state that Young Dolph's death shouldn't impede his ability to entertain his fans.

Anger instantly erupted among Young Dolph's fans, with many citing Soulja Boy's response as being disrespectful and tone-deaf, especially considering the nature of the words they had exchanged just prior to Young Dolph's death.

Soulja Boy Had A Public Beef With Young Dolph

Soulja Boy launched an online fight with Young Dolph the week prior to his death, and fans aren't ready to forget that fact. Young Dolph had made a comment about his earnings, stating that he was making $100,000 per live show that he performed. Soulja Boy egged on the conversation by challenging that dollar value, insinuating that Young Dolph wasn't that successful, and that he was lying about his financial status. In his own defense, Young Dolph slammed Soulja Boy by stating "“How da f**k I’m a independent artist and gettin 100rax plus for a show? How da f**k @keyglock got more cars & ice than you & your ceo?”

The two kept the back and forth exchange going, but that verbal warfare wasn't enough, Soulja Boy also dropped a diss track that slammed Young Dolph a few days ago, and then proceeded to walk back his intentions by saying that the lyrics in Stretch That had nothing to do with Young Dolph at all.

Soulja Boy Is Pulled From The Tour Over Safety Concerns

As a result of the heated beef between both artists just prior to Young Dolph's murder, the promotors of the Millenium Tour, G-Squared Events, have opted to temporarily remove Soulja Boy from their lineup. This move seems to have been especially prudent given the fact that the next two tour stops happen to be St. Louis and Memphis - the place that Young Dolph was gunned down.

The tragedy that unfolded at Astroworld is still fresh, and G-Squared Events doesn't want to risk the safety of their guests, performers, or staff. Immediately upon Young Dolph's murder, hundreds of emotionally-charged fans took to the streets in protest and in mourning, and the crowd was so intense that police scrambled to install barriers.

Soulja Boy Doesn't Want Young Dolph's Death To Get In His Way

At this time, it has been decided that putting Soulja Boy on a stage in Young Dolph's hometown would generate an obvious, and unnecessary risk.

Soulja Boy has protested this with a bold reply that enraged Young Dolph's fans, stating; "I'm still getting paid. What him dying got to do with me? I'm tryna see my fans."
