Stop right now! Are the Spice Girls reuniting? Maybe. But they did just celebrate their 25th anniversary of their most popular song, "Wannabe," on July 8.

The former girl group is making sure friendship never ends with this anniversary post. Some of the band's members took to social media to celebrate the milestone. Mel B, "Scary Spice," posted that they have something special in mind for their fans. "Ahhh finally peeps!!!! It’s been a very VERY emotional day,but we WILL be back and that’s my "scary" promise to you all," she captioned the video.

In celebration of the anniversary, the girls dropped an EP called "Wannabe25," with a never before released song called "Feed Your Love," which was originally written in 1995.

So are the Spice Girls getting back together for the anniversary or was this just a fun thing to celebrate? They most recently toured in 2019 sans Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham. What are The Spice Girls Up to today?

9 Wannabe25 EP

If you wannabe my lover, you gotta get this new Wannabe25 EP. It features the original song, a remix by Junior Vasquez, the original demo recording and a demo of "Feed Your Love," an unreleased ballad. It dropped digitally on July 9, one day after the anniversary. It will also be released on vinyl and cassette on August 27. They also released a scrapbook style video for "Wannabe," featuring fan photos and footage.

8 Preparing For A World Tour

The girl group last toured the U.K. in 2019, without Victoria Beckham and really, really wanna zig-a-zig-ah and do it again. Now, would be the perfect time, especially since it's their 25th anniversary. They are said to be planning shows across Australia, Europe and America this year. Mel C and Mel B have dropped hints that the former girl group may be heading out on the road once again. The last time all five of them performed together was in 2012 for the London Olympic Games.

7 Spice World 2

In 1997, the Spice Girls starred in Spice World The Movie. The synopsis of the movie, according to IMDb is "World famous pop group the Spice Girls zip around London in their luxurious double decker tour bus having various adventures and performing for their fans." Now there have been rumors that the long-anticipated sequel is happening. A film producer told The Sun that the four girls have approached a screenwriter about a sequel.

“It is still in the early stages but they are talking to established names in the business, which proves they are taking a big screen comeback seriously," said a film industry source. Spice Girls’ representatives declined to comment.

6 #IAmASpiceGirl Campaign

Despite not being together for years, The Spice Girls still work together on projects. The #IAmASpiceGirl campaign was launched by the girl band, which asked fans to share memories of their time as Spice Girls fans. "We wouldn’t be anywhere without you and can’t thank you enough for all the love we’ve had from all of you for two and a half decades," Mel B wrote on her Instagram page.

5 Mel C

Melanie C, "Sporty Spice," starred on Celebrity Google Box this year, alongside her brother. Besides that, Mel C has been working hard in the studio on her solo self-titled album. She is also gearing up to go on a solo tour in January and February of 2022 around Europe. The tour had to be postponed until then due to COVID. Mel C will also be a coach on this season of The Voice Kids UK. She has also been doing photoshoots and has been involved in human rights campaigns, like pride and March for Women.

4 Emma Bunton

Emma Bunton, "Baby Spice," is now taking care of her own babies and keeping busy. Her book, 'Mama, You Got This' is out now, which appeared on the Sunday Times Best-Sellers list, and is currently the co-owner of Kit & Kin UK. Besides promoting her book and being a girl boss, Bunton spends time with her husband and children and posts throwback pictures of The Spice Girls.

3 Victoria Beckham

Although Beckham has not performed with the Spice Girls since 2012, she is certainly keeping busy. She has followed her dreams of being a fashion designer and is very successful in it. Beckham has even launched new shades in her Victoria Beckham Beauty line. She even teased a new clothing collection coming for Autumn/Winter this year. Beckham has scaled back on the Spice Girls part of her career and focused on fashion and family.

2 Mel B

Along with celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Spice Girls, Mel B took on the Uber Eats UK football challenge and scored a perfect goal. Mel B also made a video and has spread awareness about abuse and her work with Women's Aid. She was also announced as the host of The Fashion Hero season 2, which is "a competition between unconventional models to see who will be the next face for a renowned brand's advertising campaign."

1 Geri Halliwell

Despite Halliwell leaving the band in 1998, she is still very much a part of the reunions, projects and recent performances. She has been living a pretty low-key life with her husband and child. Halliwell hangs out with animals, participates in campaigns (United Nations, Together For Our Planet, etc.) and supports her husband's racing career. Out of all the Spice Girls, she lives the most normal life.
