Starbucks is kicking off summer with two new drinks perfect for those hot days when all you need is a refreshing, icy beverage.

The coffee chain unveiled two new iced tea drinks that are both tasty and incredibly Instagram-able. Starbucks is calling the new specialty tea bevvys "Cold Foam Tea Lemonades." There are two flavors as of now but more could be on the way according to the company.

"Summer Sunrise" and "Summer Sunset" are the official names of the new cold teas. Each one is made with a mixture of "cold foam" that is infused with Teavana Passion Tango herbal tea, as well as lemonade and pineapple. Summer Sunrise is made with a lemonade base, which gives it a similar color to a morning sunrise. While Summer Sunset has the same lemonade base but with Passion Tea infused into it giving it the same color as an evening sunset.

But what exactly is the "cold foam" that makes these drinks so different from other tea-based beverages? The foam is made when you take non-fat milk and blend it until it is the perfect smooth topper for an icy drink. Sounds simple enough, but it certainly makes the new drinks look more impressive. Plus, it is delicious and perfect for the summertime.

Starbucks is selling Summer Sunrise and Summer Sunset as limited-time menu items, available only in the summer, which goes along with their often-implemented seasonal specialty drink concept. They are like the Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint Mocha, which are released as seasonal items every fall. The company has not said how long these two drinks will be around but we're going to try them out sooner rather than later! As of last week all, they were available at all Starbucks locations in the United States and Canada.

This drink announcement came days after the company unveiled their new Mango Dragonfruit Refresher, a hot pink iced tea made with tropical dragonfruit.

All three of these summer beverages sound very interesting to us but what do you think? Will you try one of the two new teas or the new refresher at Starbucks this season? Let us know in the comments!
