It's hard to believe that some of Hollywood's best actors and performers are in their 90s, having worked in the spotlight for many years. These iconic actors and singers are celebrated for their contribution to movies and music and they continue to grace our screens today, even though most people working regular jobs would have retired a long time ago.

These stars are currently 90 and up, and have worked in Hollywood for quite some time lending their talents to memorable television shows, Oscar-nominated movies, and brilliant on-stage performances. From William Daniels to James Earl Jones, these stars are rocking it in their 90s and some still work to this day.

10 Williams Daniels - 94

Actor Willaim Daniels was born on March 31, 1927, currently making the star 94-years-old. Daniels is highly recognized for his television roles, especially when he starred as Mark Craig in the tv drama St. Elsewhere and portraying the beloved George Feeny in the teenage sitcom Boy Meets World.

Talking to People about celebrating his 94th birthday, Daniels admitted that what keeps him going is "love and family" and also credits exercise for his longevity.

9 Estelle Harris - 93

Actress Estelle Harris was born on April 4, 1928, and is currently 93-years-old, most famously known for portraying Estelle Costanza on Seinfeld. However, she's done a lot of voice work thanks to her memorable voice, including playing Mrs. Potato Head in Toy Story and Mama Gunda in Tarzan II, and has worked on shows like Family Guy and Kim Possible. 

8 William Shatner - 90

William Shatner has a long and accomplished career as an actor and is most famously known for portraying Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek and Denny Crane in Boston Legal.

According to IMDb, Shatner is currently 90-years-old and continues to work in Hollywood with his most recent work in the movie Senior Moment alongside Jean Hart and Christopher Lloyd, and 2019's horror flick Devil's Revenge. 

7 Harry Belafonte - 94

Actor Harry Belafonte is currently 94-years-old and is widely regarded as the most famous successful Jamaican-American pop star in history. He was rightfully dubbed the "King of Calypso" and would go on to appear in several films, including Island in the Sun and the musical Carmen Jones. 

Besides his acting and singing talents, Belafonte has been an active supporter of the civil rights movement and was a close friend of Martin Luther King Jr.

6 Gene Hackman - 91

Gene Hackman is currently 91 and has since retired from acting, but his time in Hollywood has spanned six decades and is quite impressive. Some of Hackman's most notable films include The French Connection, Unforgiven, Bonnie and Clyde, and his final film before retirement was 2004's Welcome to Mooseport.

When asked by GQ, if he would ever come out of retirement to work on another film, Hackman shared, "If I could do it in my own house. maybe, without them disturbing anything and just one or two people."

5 James Earl Jones - 90

James Earl Jones was born on January 17, 1931, making him 90-years-old with an acting career that spans an impressive seven decades. The iconic star has lent his voice to many films and commercials, but he is most known for giving his voice to Darth Vader in the Star Wars movies.

Jones' other notable film credits include Coming to America, The Hunt for Red October, and The Great White Hope. 

4 Tony Bennett - 94

At 94-years-old, Tony Bennett continues to amaze his fans with his on-stage presence, most recently teaming up with Lady Gaga in 2014 for an album of jazz standards called Cheek to Cheek, which won the artist a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

Bennett has been singing since the 1950s and proves that age is just a number after releasing an album when he turned 90 titled Tony Bennett Celebrates 90, which included artists like Elton John, Billy Joel, and Andrea Bocelli.

3 Angela Lansbury - 95

Angela Lansbury has worked as a Hollywood actress for nearly eight decades most notable for her work in Murder, She Wrote and voicing Mrs. Potts and singing "Beauty and the Beast" in the iconic Disney movie.

Lansbury is currently 95-years-old and is regarded as one of the last surviving stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood movies and the earliest surviving Academy Award nominees.

2 Clint Eastwood - 90

Clint Eastwood is an actor and director that is one of the most celebrated stars in Hollywood. At the age of 90, he has an extremely impressive resume that includes his work in several Westerns, including the Dirty Harry franchise, and directing movies such as Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby, which have gone on to win him Academy Awards.

In 2020, the actor directed and starred in the film Cry Macho, which is set to be released later this year.

1 Sidney Poitier - 94

Sidney Poitier's accomplishments as an actor are profound, becoming the first African American actor to win Best Actor at the Academy Awards for his performance in Lillies of the Field and becoming the first Black movie star.

Poitier has been working in Hollywood since the 1950s and made his directorial debut in the 1970s with the film Buck and the Preacher. The actor has gone on to win several awards for his accomplishments and was even made an honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in 1974.
