Cris Mamprim, a healthcare worker at Hospital Regional Alto Vale in Brazil, along with her co-workers, saw a very touching scene of a depiction of love and devotion while at work.
On a Sunday, in the middle of the night, Cesar, a homeless man walked into the hospital so that he could receive his treatment and the medication that was necessary for a certain health problem that he’s been having. But usually, this patient visited another facility in a different part of Alto Vale, so Mamprim, as well as the other people who were working during that shift, started asking him questions about his condition. But soon after that, they realized that the homeless man wasn’t actually alone at the hospital.
Even though Cesar lacked any material possessions and a roof over his head, his life was very rich with friendships, because when the hospital staff that was working during the shift when he was in the hospital looked outside the front door, they saw a bunch of faithful dogs who were eagerly waiting for Cesar to safely return with them.
Mamprim quickly learned that all of the dogs were Cesar’s friends, and he had taken to the task of taking care of each and every one of them. In fact, Cesar stated that he often avoids getting food for himself so that he can ensure all of the dogs that surround him on a daily basis have something to eat that day. According to Mamprim, all of the dogs are chubby and seem to be well taken care of. And having seen them patiently and excitedly waiting for their friend at the door of the hospital just goes to show how much they all care for Cesar and how much and how well he takes care of them.
Fortunately, the dogs didn’t have to wait too long for Cesar to come back, since as soon as Cesar got all of his medication, and the hospital staff heard about the story, they invited all of the dogs inside so they could be together with their human friend. And they also offered all of them some food. But, true to his word, Cesar ate a little bit and saved the rest to give to the dogs later.
