The Ultimate Fighting Championship is a great place for world-class mixed martial artists to showcase their skills and prove to the masses that they're amongst the best athletes on the planet.
Contrary to some old school views, however, it's not just a place that promotes male fighters - because the women are pretty incredible, too.
From the ring girls to the announcers to the actual fighters themselves, there are so many great things to be said for the women of the UFC.
Today, we're going to celebrate them as we continue to experience a new age of combat sports action.
20 Paige VanZant
Paige VanZant has long since been viewed as the sweetheart of the UFC, but after embracing her role as something of a sex symbol, it seems like 'sweetheart' may not be the correct term. Plus, it's safe to say that she's nowhere near sweet when she's in the cage competing.
19 Megan Olivi
While Megan Olivi may not be an active part of the UFC roster as a fighter, she's certainly still a huge part of the family as one of the leading presenters within the company. She always seems to do an incredible job of making every little thing about the UFC feel important, so kudos.
18 Ronda Rousey
When Ronda Rousey first burst onto the scene in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the mainstream media quite literally could not get enough of her. While her star power has dropped ever since then, there's still something so unbelievably intoxicating about her in the eyes of many fans around the world.
17 Miesha Tate
With a nickname like Cupcake, it's hard not to be universally loved and appreciated.
Aside from her crowning moment of choking out Holly Holm a few years back, Tate has done a phenomenal job of building her brand both in and outside of the Octagon. She was always regarded as an ultimate underdog, and rightly so.
16 Maycee Barber
She's young, she's hungry and she's about as marketable as they come.
Maycee has set a goal for herself to become the youngest UFC champion ever, breaking Jon Jones' previous record in the process. Regardless of whether or not she achieves that goal, though, she's going to be a star for many years in the UFC.
15 Joanna Jedrzejczyk
Joanna was mainly just viewed as being an unbelievable champion once upon a time, but now, fans have started to take notice of her looks. She's not the most conventional girl in the world, but as you can tell by her Instagram account, that tends to be part of her appeal.
14 Arianny Celeste
We arrive at the first ring girl of the piece, and it's a big one: Arianny Celeste. She has always been an ever-present face both at weigh-ins and on fight night itself, and while it hasn't always been an easy journey, the fans certainly still love and appreciate her.
13 Mackenzie Dern
Mackenzie Dern seems to have built this reputation for herself as the ultimate girl next door in the eyes of many fans following her meteoric rise towards the top of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. She's a real superstar in the making so long as the UFC doesn't rush her build.
12 Rose Namajunas
Rose is one of the most fascinating characters in the women's MMA game, and she also happens to be one of the most talented fighters, too. She's quick, she's powerful, and she has the kind of unorthodox technique that is always going to bode well when you're in the running for a title.
11 Michelle Waterson
Michelle Waterson almost certainly could've had a pretty easy life as a model, but instead, she chose the road less traveled and decided to pursue her dream of becoming a professional fighter. All these years later, we'd say she's done pretty well up to this point - and her journey has only just begun.
10 Karolina Kowalkiewicz
From the way she calmly rests against the cage before her fights to her charming personality, Karolina is a Polish gem that should be treasured and admired within the MMA community. Whenever she decides to retire, it'll be a sad, sad day, but either way, she's got a great future ahead of her.
9 Ashley Yoder
Ashley Yoder may not be one of the most notable stars in the UFC but with eyes like that, it's hard to ignore her. She's another girl who appears to be set for life depending on what direction she wants to take herself in, but that hasn't stopped the pursuit of greatness in mixed martial arts.
8 Alexa Grasso
She's been dubbed as 'cute' more so than anything else by the masses, but her fighting style certainly doesn't fall into that category. She has been somewhat criminally underrated and underpromoted by the UFC in the past, and we can only hope that changes at some point in her next few outings.
7 Brittney Palmer
Brittney Palmer is often viewed as the queen of the ring girls, but regardless of what you think of how she does her job, there's no denying how much of a fan favorite she is. Being a ring girl may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it certainly gains you a following.
6 Valentina Shevchenko
If Valentina Shevchenko isn't cast as a primary badass in a James Bond film at some stage, then something is terribly wrong. She's an amazing fighter, she's gorgeous, and her popularity seems to grow with each and every fight. What's not to love?
Oh, and she beat Amanda Nunes, even if the official result says differently.
5 Pearl Gonzalez
While her actual UFC career may not quit have gone to plan, one thing that is undeniable is how much star potential Pearl Gonzalez has. She seems to be gradually making her way into the sphere of casual fans, too, and with a little bit of fine-tuning, she could go on to accomplish some really big things.
4 Holly Holm
She's known for being the woman that was able to knock out Ronda Rousey and while that will forever be her legacy, people should remember that Holm is also perceived to be one of the nicest human beings in mixed martial arts. Her skill set, too, is out of this world.
3 Cat Zingano
Back in the day, Cat Zingano wasn't the kind of fighter you messed with, and now that she's made the jump over to Bellator, we're hoping that'll still be the case. Either way, though, she's considered to be one of the biggest sweethearts in the game and will always be held in high regard by hardcore fans.
2 Claudia Gadelha
Sorry guys and girls, but it seems like Claudia Gadelha would much rather spend her days with Brian Ortega than anyone else.
We're messing around, of course, and aside from that, one thing that Gadelha doesn't receive nearly enough props for is her actual fighting ability. She's a demon when she wants to be.
1 Rachael Ostovich
Rachael Ostovich has been through a lot but along the way, she's been able to come out the other side as an even stronger person. She's a tough nut to crack and we've seen proof of that inside the Octagon, and as we look ahead to the future, we hope to see her return once again.
