Survivor contestant Dan Spilo was abruptly kicked off the show amid accusations of “inappropriate behavior,” as reported by AOL. Apparently, this wasn’t the first incident brought to light about Spilo, as fellow contestant, Kellee Kim had complained about his “inappropriate touching” to show producers prior.

A Pattern Of Bad Behavior?

While Kim’s accusations were denied by Spilo, this latest round prompted the powers that be to boot him from the show. Allegedly, the incident didn’t involve another show contestant and wasn’t captured on camera. Spilo was issued a warning from producers two weeks prior.

Breaking The News To Those Still Left

Host Jeff Probst delivered the news to the rest of the contestants as follows, “So I just spoke privately with Dan, and I wanna update you guys. A decision has been made, and Dan will not be returning to the game. He won’t be coming back to camp. He won’t be on the jury. He’s gone.”

Probst didn’t go into detail as to what allegedly happened, but there was evidently enough information to send Spilo packing.

Too Little, Too Late

Kim took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the situation, keeping in mind she was voted off the show not long after speaking up on camera about her interactions with Spilo. In part, she wrote, “While Dan’s dismissal has validated the concerns that I raised from the beginning of this season, I wish that no one else had to be subjected to this type of behavior.”

Fans have weighed in, with some shaming Survivor for allowing Spilo to have remained on the show as long as he did.
