Suzanne Somers might be best-known for her roles on Three's Company and Step By Step. The actress, author, singer, businesswoman and health spokeswoman, who turned 75 in October, has been considered very attractive and a heartthrob during her career and is in better shape than ever.

Maintaining a figure and staying healthy gets hard when you get older but during the years, Somers has proven time and time again that it takes a lot of hard work. She has given tips during interviews and is very passionate about it. Somers even has a whole website dedicated to living her healthiest life, so this is a lifestyle for her. The site talks about guy health, organic make-up, skin care, workout regimens and more.

From working out and eating right to keeping up energy in the bedroom, here's how Suzanne Somers stays in shape at 75 years old.

9 What Suanne Somers Has Said About Staying In Shape

In an interview with EverydayHealth, Somers talked about staying in shape. "Throughout my life, I have tried to share my belief that getting and staying healthy doesn’t have to feel like work. My life is not about deprivation; I don’t diet or slave away in a gym." She just eats healthy, makes sure to move her body everyday, drink lots of water and tries to stay away from toxins. Somers offers lots of tips in her over 27 lifestyle books.

8 She Avoids Processed Foods

Talking with the website Prevention, Somers stated that she stays away from processed foods. She only eats foods that she can "pick, pluck, milk, or shoot" and has been doing that for years. Having a garden in her backyard helps a lot with that process. "I brought in organic soil, put in a water purification system, and planted organic seeds and plants," she told the publication.

The 75-year-old starts her day with a green smoothie. Around lunchtime, she tries to stay low carb with foods like chicken or salad. And for dinner she tries to keep all of the oils and spices natural and often enjoys marinated lamb.

7 Suzanne Somers Says Monitoring Your Hormones Is Important

"Every year, I get lab testing done to show my hormone levels. I take supplements and vitamins determined by my deficiencies, and aim to keep everything in perfect balance," she told Prevention. 6 Yoga Keeps Her In Shape

For nearly two decades, Somers has performed the same workout routine, and her favorite is yoga. She would do that until the day she dies. She allows herself to warm-up and then goes through deeper stretches and movements. But that is not all. Somers has also been the spokesperson for Thighmaster for a long time and she continues to do it regularly. "One of the appealing aspects of the ThighMaster is being able to watch TV while working out," she told FitnessClone.com.

5 Suzanne Somers Has An Active Sex Life

A great reward of keeping those hormones in check is having an active sex life with her husband, Alan Hamel. In her 50s, it was a completely different story. Her hormones were unbalanced, and she had no libido. Somers told Prevention that "she feels sexy and confident," now that she's changed her hormone levels.

4 Organic Is The Way To Go

Taking care of your body on the outside is just as important as on the inside. If you scour her Instagram, you'll see organized skincare and hair products that she promotes that leave her feeling and looking younger. Her organic, certified toxic-free skincare line, Suzanne Organics are the only products she uses.

Every day, she washes her face with an exfoliating cleanser. Sometimes she uses a recovery mask and aging serum and moisturizer. Being a huge fan of make-up, Somers wanted sometimes that wouldn't damage her skin, so she makes sure to take it off every night before bed with a cleanser. Then, she tries to prevent aging with eye cream and ageless serum.

At the end of the day, she will sometimes unwind with an Epsom salt bath and puts coconut oil on her hair and face to relax.

3 'Somersizing'

The 75-year-old developed her own diet plan after talking to many nutritionists and has hailed it Somersizing. Somersizing was first developed in her 1996 book, Eat Great, Lose Weight.

2 Suzanne Somers Listens To Her Body

Somers stressed that every person and every body is different and that's why you should listen to your own body. "My big message to aging women is, it's not over. We women are so incredible. We work, raise our children, run our households, and do a million things in a day," she told Prevention. "But women but also prioritize their health."
