Tana Mongeau took to her YouTube channel to upload one of her notorious "storytime" styled videos. She detailed the dramatic breakup between herself and one of her best friends, and the details took viewers on a wild ride. Is her version of the events 100% true, or is there more than meets the eye?

She prefaced the video by explaining why she doesn't post storytimes or rants as often as she used to. Simply put, she's felt lucky in life and thought it would be unrelatable to rant about her LA problems that weren't hard-hitting issues.
"It was the worst week ever and I'm going to talk to you about it," Mongeau began, "This person and I dated, we broke up. We broke up for reasons I don't want to talk about...I do this thing where I date musicians and they make songs about me, and I live with it."
Most fans are guessing singer Mod Sun the anonymous musician Mongeau described as making the most hateful song ever written about her, "The entire time I was with you and loyal to you, you just made me realize my ex was better."
She laughed that someone was able to act worse in a relationship than Jake Paul, and delved into how her friend entered the mess later on in the nearly 40-minute video.
Betrayed By Her Friend
Mongeau said how everything started going downhill on the week of Halloween, when her friend, whom she dubbed as "Mindy" to avoid using her real name, picked a fight because Mongeau was hitting on someone she was pursuing.
When Mongeau pursued a casual relationship with someone else she refrained from naming, she recalled that Mindy liked him a little too much, "She'll stay around and talk to him a little too much, she'll laugh at his jokes a little too much. I was always aware, I just wouldn't think you'd do anything Mindy!"
On a night when she was hanging out with Mindy and said friends with benefits, she noticed that they were getting oddly close. Long story short, very long story short, Mongeau's best friend took part in adult activities with the man she was seeing in her own house.
Fans also have guessed that the anonymous best friend is TikToker and influencer, Brooke Schofield. She's spoken her piece, stating that the story is false and that she's received as far as death threats from Mongeau's fans.
