But not much is known about the woman who captured Mr. Big's heart. Chris Noth admits he prefers to keep his life private, unlike most celebrities. He once said that "it's so gross" when he sees celebrities put their personal lives out there in shows or magazines. But we managed to find a few interesting things you might want to know about his gorgeous wife.

Updated on September 15, 2021, by Michael Chaar: Chris Noth and Tara Lynn Wilson first began out as co-workers when Tara worked at Chris' bar in New York City back in 2002. The two obviously hit it off, considering they've been together ever since. Not only are they compatible when it comes to marriage, but their also great business owners. The two own a tea house in Canada, all while taking on parenthood with their two boys, Christopher, and newborn, Keats. Tara, who was born in Vancouver, is no stranger to the limelight, having been in a handful of films and TV shows, however, she's since taken a backseat to the limelight to focus on motherhood. As for Chris, the actor is set to return to playing Mr. Big alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in the Sex And The City reboot.

Tara Was A Bartender At Chris' Bar

Chris Noth first met Tara Lynn Wilson at his club lounge, The Cutting Room in New York City in 2002. She was working there as a bartender. He was 48 and she was 20. The couple now co-owns the tea house, Once Upon a Tea Cup in Ontario, Canada. It just shows how well they work together. The many years they've been together should be enough proof, actually.

She Is An Actress And Pageant Title Holder

Tara was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. She moved to New York City at a very young age. There, she pursued acting and graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She appeared in Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001), Piñero (2001), and Frame of Mind (2009). She was also crowned Miss West Virginia back in 2000 at the height of her beauty pageant days.

While her career in the entertainmnet biz might seem slightly short-lived, Tara is Chris' biggest support system, not to mention the glue that holds their family together. The duo share sons, Christopher and Keats, who was actually born last year! Tara and Chris share many special moments of their kids, and although there's a vast age difference between the two siblings, it's clear Christopher is the best big brother there is!

She Gets Death Threats For Being Married To Chris

Chris told Wall Street Journal, "When I was in a play on Broadway two years ago I’d occasionally get letters of outrage, usually from somewhere in Alabama or something, saying y'know, 'Don’t come down here with your wife.'"

He's referring to how his marriage to Tara Lynn, an African American-Filipino, has spurred racist hate mails. It's no wonder he's very protective of his family's privacy. Still, the actor is hopeful that we're now heading towards a post-racial future. "We're all getting together. We're all mixing it up," Chris said about raising biracial sons in this modern age.

Chris Noth Returns To 'Sex And The City'

Although it was very much up in the air as to who would be making their comeback to the Sex And The City reboot, Chris Noth revealed he'd be back as Mr. Big. While it's not easy to watch your signficant other get romantic with their on-screen lover, it's clear that Noth's character being entangled with Carrie Bradshaw has never gotten in between he and Tara's love for one another.

It remains unclear as to what storyline Noth and SJP will be following in the reboot, but with a few pics that have come out so far of the two, it's clear they'll be back to their old selves, or at least we hope so!
