Tara Reid's acting career has spanned over three decades and the Hollywood actress from keeping her dreams high. The 44-year-old recently opened up about her dream of winning an Oscar one day.
It looks like she may in fact be one step closer to reaching her goal. Recently, Tara confirmed that she is in the talks to play the role of Carole Baskin in the new adaptation film of Tiger King.
Tiger King, which is a True Crime Documentary, became a household hit when it was released on Netflix back in March. The current series follows the story of ZooKeeper, Joe Exotic, and his bitter feud with Carole Baskin, a big-cat rights activist. It's been reported that Nicolas Cage is set to play the role of Joe Exotic in the movie adaptation.
Speaking on her career goals, the Sharknado actress said, "I still want that Oscar. That's every actor's dream. You have your speech all prepared and you practice it in the mirror with the toothpaste as your microphone."
Her career ambitions don't stop there, the star also revealed that she would love a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
A woman of many talents, Tara has even taken on behind the scenes duties in the producing world. She expressed how she wants to be able to enjoy both sides of film creation by acting but also creating the movies herself.
Speaking on her potential new role of Carole Baskin, Tara stated, "I would definitely want to spend a week with (Baskin) - not to ask her anything, to see how she eats, see how she plays, see if she talks to people. Did she kill her husband? Did the tiger eat him? Did she do this? There's so much stuff in the air. Nothing's ever been proven and maybe she did nothing or maybe she did. No one knows."
While we don't know whether the tiger ate Carole Baskin's husband or not, we do know that Tara Reid will make a great fit for her potential new Tiger King role and we wish her all the best in her Oscar dream pursuits.
