The massive success of Olivia Rodrigo's ebut single "Driver's License" earlier this year has gained her tons of fans, including the likes of celebrities like Taylor Swift.
The "Willow" songstress is undoubtedly one of Rodrigo's biggest fans, and she admires her storytelling lyrics so much, she gave the 18-year-old a very sweet gift.
During an interview on SiriusXM, Rodrigo gushed about Swift and revealed that the 31-year-old singer sent her a ring exactly like the one she wore while writing her 2012 album Red.
"She is absolutely the kindest individual in the whole world. Actually, last night - like literally 12 hours ago - I got a package from her with this handwritten note," Rodrigo revealed.
"And she gave me this ring because she said she wore one just like it when she wrote Red and she wanted me to have one like it," the singer shared, while showing off the gold Cathy Waterman "Love" ring, which retails for $3,200.00.
Rodrigo admitted that she looks up to Swift, and it's clear that the budding artist has been highly influenced by the singer. Her lyrics, like Swift's, are personal to her and relatable to her listeners.
"I feel so lucky that I was born at the right time to be able to look up to someone like her," Rodrigo said about Swift, adding, "I think she's incredible. All of her support and genuine compassion and excitement for me has just been so so surreal."
Swift has been a big fan of Rodrigo's ever since she released "Driver's License" in January. She even called the young star her "baby" on one of Rodrigo's Instagram posts.
"I say that's my baby and I'm proud," Swift wrote.
