Tekashi 69 may have wished he just sat there and ate his food.

The rainbow-haired rapper wrote a homophobic comment on Instagram regarding Lil Nas X, so the “Old Town Road” rapper decided to imply he was undercover.

The post 6ix9ine commented on was from blogger DJ Akademiks, which was a screenshot of a story on China’s recent alleged decision to make COVID-19 anal swab tests mandatory for foreigners.

“Lil Nas X entered the chat,” said the "YAYA" artist wrote in the comment section.

After the comment came to Lil Nas X's attention, the openly gay star decided to respond.

Dancing along to one of his own songs, the "Panini" artist addressed the comment by simply asking, “This you?”

He shared a screenshot of his DMs with 6ix9ine, with two separate messages from the rapper that garnered no response. “Yo,” wrote 6ix9ine in October last year.

“Gonna be in ya city soon what you doing lol?” he wrote in another message with a heart and an upside down smiley face.

6ix9ine has since slammed the screenshots.

In a video, he showed himself going to Lil Nas X’s profile to see their DM history. It showed no messages. It’s worth pointing out that Instagram does allow users to un-send messages, but 6ix9ine has claimed he never DM'ed Nas.

After Lil Nas X video went viral - Tekashi was mercilessly mocked.

"Not Tekashi lookin’ for 6-9 inches," Sister Sister star Jackée Harvey hilariously tweeted.

"Jail was too good to him," a second added

"He act like it ain’t a 'un-send button.' He probably deleted the message, because if you look, he was searching for lil nas IG page because it was in his search list," a investigative tweet read.

Last month, Tekashi made headlines as a video posted on social media showed him blasting Philly rapper Meek Mill.

According to Meek, who quickly posted the scuffle on social media, the two were at the same club. After their turn up, the "GOOBA" star allegedly waited for him in the parking lot - where Meek says he "spat" at him.

"The feds sent him to take me out wtf," the "Litty" star wrote with a bunch of laughing emojis.

"Had to spit on him so he retreated lol he really waited outside the club for me ... I thought I was dreaming wtf we almost smoked him lol he posed a lil threat popping up in the parking lot waiting for me."

Meek has been critical of 6ix9ine in the past after he gave cops information on the Nine Trey Bloods.

69 was labelled a "snitch" as he did so in order to lessen his sentence on firearms and racketeering charges.

The rapper - real name Daniel Hernandez - was sentenced to two years in prison, including 13 months already served.
