Although fans began to turn on Joe Coleman for ghosting Michelle Young on Instagram, it appears as if they may have been wrong to label him the season villain, considering Jamie Skaar is clearly doing a stellar job at taking on that role. During Jamie and Michelle's one-on-one date, the entrepreneur opened up about his tumultuous past, however, that was soon overshadowed by the shocking drama he started prior to the rose ceremony, and fans aren't happy about it!

Jamie Scores A One-On-One Date With Michelle

When it came to the first one-on-one date of the season, it appears as if Jamie Skaar was the luckiest of them all! He and Michelle jetted off to none other than Joshua Tree for a picnic, but not just any picnic. While her group date went less than stellar, mainly due to the drama between Peter and Will, Michelle was totally feeling her time with Jamie.

The two had to rock climb to their picnic, which was right up Jamie's alley considering he's all about a wild adventure. Michelle was quite impressed with Skaar's coaching skills during her ascent up the rock, making it clear that he knows a thing or two about supporting his partner. Despite the two having hit it off, things took a turn later in the episode when Jamie concocted some unnecessary drama.

He Questioned Michelle About The "Rumors"

Although Jamie and Michelle took things to the next level during their romantic dinner, it seems as if Jamie threw that all away when he created a rumor regarding Michelle and fellow Bachelorette contestant, Joe Coleman. Prior to the rose ceremony, the men all gathered for a highly anticipated cocktail party, however, Michelle and her roster of men never got to drinking!

Instead, Jamie and Martin got to talking about Michelle potentially knowing Joe back in Minnesota. While fans know their backstory, the men don't, so Jamie found the perfect in to start a little drama. After making it clear that he was bothered by their previous relationship, if we can even call it that, he took it upon himself to let Michelle know that the entire group is chatting about it, which wasn't the case at all.

During their private moment, Jamie revealed to Michelle that the men have been talking about her previous connection to Joe, claiming Jamie's friend had told him Michelle was already "boo'd up with a light skin baller," pointing to that baller being Joe. This was a total lie, as no such conversation happened between any of the contestants.

Michelle took it upon herself to confront the group, asking who has concerns regarding her and Joe's previous online relationship, however, no one said a thing, mainly because no one knew anything about it but Jamie. Yikes!

Fans Call Jamie Skaar This Season's Villain

When Michelle confronted the men, Jamie Skaar sat there bewildered over what was going on, putting on what can only be described as a performance of a lifetime. Considering Jamie created the rumor, fans hoped he would set the record straight, however, it was all crickets from him.

"It’s very sus to me that Jamie would bring up these rumors himself and then claim that “others” are talking about it. Especially AFTER he created an emotional bond and basis for trust with her. Textbook manipulation. Giant red flag," one viewer commented on Twitter.

Fans were quick to call out Jamie for his sneaky ways, referring to him as this season's "villain," and rightfully so! Luckily for Skaar, he already scored a rose from Michelle on their date, so he was safe, to say the least. Well, it seems as if this just might blow up in his face when next week's preview showcased some of the men questioning how "he thought he would get away with this," leaving us all to think that his plan backfires on him.
