In the MCU movie, Keoghan's character Druig, is an eternal who can control minds. The actor's ability to portray the complex character and his on-screen chemistry with Makkari (Lauren Ridloff) earned him praise from fans.

They've been excited about watching the star take on other roles, and it would be certainly interesting to watch Keoghan deliver a strong performance as The Joker, one of the greatest comic-book villains of all time.

Previously, the actor was reported to portray Stanley Merkel, a Gotham City cop who is remembered as James Gordon's partner in the comic books. Keoghan also shared a selfie from the film sets where he sported a jacket with the Batman symbol and "crew" imprinted on it.

Does this mean Keoghan will portray two different roles in the film - or is his new role a secret left for moviegoers to watch on the big screen? We'll have to wait and find out!
