Netflix just released Season 5 of the popular show Cobra Kai, and actress Phoebe French has said that Season 5 will blow audiences away. The comedy drama show is based on the 1984 movie The Karate Kid, starring Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso. The franchise is based on a battle in The Valley between different karate dojos — Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai. This feud is continued, and expanded upon, in the show Cobra Kai.

There are a few big names and a lot of rising stars in the spinoff series. Here's a list of the main cast of Cobra Kai, ranked by their net worth.

11 Ralph Macchio — $8 Million

Ralph Macchio returned to the Cobra Kai series to play Daniel LaRusso, grown up. In the new series, Daniel has a wife and two kids, and he starts getting back into karate after his daughter takes an interest in learning. Macchio has said that he expects season 6 of Cobra Kai to be announced 'very soon'.

Aside from The Karate Kid, Macchio has also starred in other popular movies such as The Outsiders and My Cousin Vinny.

10 Peyton List — $7 Million

In the Cobra Kai series, Peyton List plays the role of Tory Nichols, who had a hard life growing up and turned to karate to help her navigate her emotions. While she comes off as tough, she has a much more empathetic interior. List is a model and actress, and she is also known for her roles on Jessie, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and 27 Dresses.

9 William Zabka — $3 Million

William Zabka plays Johnny Lawrence, which is the karate competitor that Daniel LaRusso defeated in the original movie. When the idea for the new show was introduced, Ralph Macchio was hesitant to take the role, and only agreed to take a meeting with the creators because of William Zabka's involvement. In the new series, the feud between Zabka and Macchio's characters, Johnny and Daniel, continues when both men decide to open up their own dojos in The Valley.

Zabka also held roles in How I Met Your Mother and National Lampoon's European Vacation.

8 Xolo Maridueña — $2 Million

Xolo Maridueña plays Miguel Diaz, who is the reason for Johnny Lawrence getting back into karate. When Johnny sees Miguel getting pushed around, he helps him learn how to defend himself, thus making Miguel the first member of Eagle Fang Karate. Johnny soon becomes a sort of father figure to Miguel.

For a 21-year-old actor, Xolo Maridueña is making some serious money from Cobra Kai. In addition to the series, he has also starred in the NBC series Parenthood, and he's set to have a role in the upcoming DC Extended Universe film Blue Beetle.

7 Mary Mouser — $2 Million

Mary Mouser plays Daniel LaRusso's daughter, Samantha (Sam). Sam takes an interest in learning karate, and soon becomes the All-Valley Women's Champion. Mouser also starred in Body of Proof, and she took over the role of Karen Grant in the series, Scandal.

6 Jacob Bertrand — $2 Million

Jacob Bertrand plays Eli (Hawk) Moskowitz, receiving his nickname from the staple mohawk that he always styles his hair in. In the show, Bertrand's character had a past full of bullying, and turned to karate as a means to defend himself. Bertrand has also starred in Ready Player One, and he held guest roles in The Cape and The Middle.

5 Martin Kove — $2 Million

Martin Kove plays John Kreese, who was Johnny Lawrence's sensei when Johnny was a member of Cobra Kai. In addition to starring in The Karate Kid, Kove was also featured in Once Upon A Time in Hollywood and Rambo: First Blood Part II.

4 Thomas Ian Griffith — $2 Million

Thomas Ian Griffith takes on the role of Terry Silver in Cobra Kai, who is a sensei that was first introduced in The Karate Kid Part III. In real life, Griffith holds a black belt in tae kwon do and kenpo karate, which he learned even before his role in The Karate Kid Part III. Professionally, Griffith has worked as a story-editor and co-producer for the NBC series Grimm, and he's also had guest appearances on shows such as In The Heat of the Night and One Tree Hill.

3 Vanessa Rubio — $1.5 Million

Vanessa Rubio plays Carmen Diaz, Miguel's mother and soon into the series, Johnny's Lawrence's love interest. Rubio has also held roles in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, How to Be Single, and Blood Bound.

2 Tanner Buchanan — $1 Million

Tanner Buchanan stars in the series as Robby Keene, who is Johnny Lawrence's son. Throughout the series, the father-son relationship between the two is explored as for most of Robby's life, Johnny was an absent father. Once the karate wars pick up in The Valley and Johnny begins to gain control of his life, Johnny tries to repair his relationship with his son.

Buchanan has also held a role in the ABC series Designated Survivor, and most recently starred in the new Netflix show He's All That, which is a modern rendition of the 1999 film She's All That. Buchanan seems to be a professional on-screen martial artist as some said that his fight scene in He's All That reminded them of Cobra Kai.

1 Courtney Henggeler — $1 Million

Courtney Henggeler plays Amanda LaRusso in the series, who is the wife of Daniel and mother to their two children. Henggeler is also known for playing the older version of Sheldon Cooper's twin, Missy, in The Big Bang Theory, and she also held roles in the shows Fuller House and Mom.
