The Midnight Club is a horror mystery-thriller television series streaming on Netflix about eight terminally ill young adults who form "The Midnight Club". Club members meet every night to share scary stories, which feature an overarching story, as they depict those stories on screen throughout the course of the show. The series is based on the 1994 novel of the same name written by Christopher Pike, and also contains elements derived from his other works.

10 Iman Benson As Ilonka

Iman Benson portrays Ilonka in The Midnight Club, a high school senior with thyroid cancer attending Brightcliffe Hospice in hopes of finding an unconventional cure. Iman is best known for her roles as Tia Russell in Uncle Buck, Reagan in Alexa & Katie, and Drea Barris in BlackAF. She also has appeared in minor roles including an episode of Station 19, two episodes of Suits and an episode of Creepshow.

9 Igby Rigney As Kevin

Igby Rigney portrays Kevin in The Midnight Club, a club member who was once a popular high school track star until being diagnosed with leukemia. Igby has also made appearances in Blue Bloods, Last Summer With Uncle Ira, Joe Bell, F9: The Fast Saga, Midnight Mass, and Double Down South. He is currently in the post-production of The Fall of the House of Usher and Out of My Comfort Zone, which will both premiere in 2023.

8 Ruth Codd As Anya

Ruth Codd portrays Anya in The Midnight Club, a club member with a right lower leg amputation from bone cancer, and Ruth’s first acting role. When asked about the experience, Ruth said, “I just threw myself into it. I said that, at least if it doesn't work out, I kind of went balls to the wall, and I wasn't going to leave with any regrets. You know what I mean? I had nothing to lose.”

7 Annarah Cymone As Sandra

Annarah Cymone portrays Sandra in The Midnight Club, a club member and devoted Christian relying on her religious faith to cope with her terminal lymphoma. Annarah made her acting debut in 2021 with the feature film Caged, followed by Midnight Mass, and appeared on the Steve Varley Show in 2022. On differences between her characters, Annarah said,"They're very different people. Especially Sandra, in The Midnight Club, we get to see her evolve so much."

6 William Chris Sumpter As Spencer

William Chris Sumpter portrays Spencer in The Midnight Club, a club member who has HIV and is forced to come out to his conservative family. William began his acting career on Broadway in the musical Matilda, then studied Performing Arts, and is best known as Young Ghost on Power Starz. He also performs in the musical Runway, television shows Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, When They See Us, and short films Brooklyn Love Stories, and NYC Dreams.

5 Adia As Cheri

Adia portrays Cheri in The Midnight Club, a club member and pathological liar who grew up privileged as the daughter of a wealthy Hollywood star. Adia said, “Cheri is a loving, caring, gift giving person, but she blocks everything out with lies and she projects a lot of lies onto other people… She just doesn't know how to receive love.” Cheri is Adia's first acting role and she will next appear in Full Circle.

4 Aya Furukawa As Natsuki

Aya Furukawa portrays Natsuki and said, “She's dealt with a lot of tragedies in her life and throughout the series you kind of start to notice that she's actually keeping a bit more of a secret, something going on in her past and something that's affecting her even during the show." Aya previously appeared in Brand New Cherry Flavor, The Baby-Sitters Club, and will next appear in The Fall of the House of Usher.

3 Sauriyan Sapkota As Amesh

Sauriyan Sapkota portrays Amesh in The Midnight Club, a club member with glioblastoma among the newest arrivals at Brightcliffe. On his character, Sauriyan said, “I think he has a very specific personality to him, and it's very wholesome, very loving, very kind. I think what he ultimately wants from the world is to be remembered.” The role is Sauriyan's first acting experience and he will next appear in The Fall of the House of Usher.

2 Matt Biedel As Tim

Matt Biedel portrays Tim in The Midnight Cub, Ilonka's foster father who reluctantly brings her to Brightcliffe to be supportive of fulfilling her last wishes. Matt is best known for his roles in Altered Carbon, Narcos: Mexico, and Midnight Mass. Samantha Sloyan portrays Shasta in The Midnight Club, who lives near Brightcliffe and owns a naturopathic company, using the woods' natural ingredients to cultivate medicine. Samantha is a film and television actress best known for her roles in In the Key of Eli, Scandal, Hush, Midnight Mass, and Grey's Anatomy.
