One thing Disney Channel does well is its amazing entertainment for kids to enjoy. The most successful Disney Channel entertainment always includes music to some degree. Things were not always rainbows and butterflies for the cast of High School Musical. Although onscreen it seemed that everyone got along with each other really well, behind the scenes there was quite a bit of drama! At one point in time, Director Kenny Ortega walked in on Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron having a lovers' quarrel. Reminder that they were in a relationship during the time that they were filming the HSM franchise! Lucas Grabeel and Ashley Tisdale didn’t get along on the set of the movies either. Fast forward to now? Lucas and Ashley are good friends even though he didn't appreciate receiving unsolicited stage directions from her at the time.

Miley Cyrus didn’t know at the time that she had it in her to snag the leading role of Hannah Montana in the Disney Channel TV series of the same name. She auditioned for the supporting role of Lilly Trescott, the side character/best friend. In reality, Miley Cyrus’s infectious energy, adorable look, and powerful singing voice are what pushed her in the direction of snagging the leading role that changed her life and career forever. Lilly Trescott ended up getting played by Emily Osment.
7 'Cheetah Girls': Their Biggest Song 'Cinderella' Isn't Actually Their Song
Arguably one of the biggest songs to come from the Cheetah Girls movie franchise would have to be “Cinderella” a song that puts a Hip Hop spin on the classic rags to riches story as part of the 2003 movie. Apparently, the song is not an original Cheetah Girls song by any means. For a long time, people thought that the song came from a Swedish girl group called Play who released their version in 2002. Then it was uncovered that a girl group called International Five actually released the first version of the song in the year 2000.
'Camp Rock': Kevin & Nick Jonas Almost Weren't Included In The Franchise

Who could’ve guessed that Kevin and Nick Jonas actually weren’t going to be included in the Camp Rock movie franchise? It was originally just supposed to just be Joe Jonas as Demi Lovato‘s love interest in the movies. Luckily, they figured out a way to write in all the brothers so that everyone could be included in the amazing franchise that takes place at a summer camp focused on musically inclined students.
6 'High School Musical': Drew Seeley Sang For Zac Efron In The First Movie
In an interview with Orlando Sentinel in 2007, Zac Efron spoke on the fact that Drew Seeley's voice was used instead of his for the first movie. He said, "I had to put my foot down and fight to get my voice on these tracks. In the first movie, after everything was recorded, my voice was not on them... Then High School Musical blew up. I'm very fortunate that Drew has gotten proper credit and also that I've gotten the opportunity to come back and try it again with my own voice." Fans of the franchise are happy with the result also. Both Drew Seeley and Zac Efron have great voices.

One of the coolest scenes in the High School Musical movie franchise comes in the second movie when Sharpay Evans performs one of her bubblegum pop (super narcissistic) songs on a pink piano. At the end of the movie, Kelsey plays piano for Troy and Gabriella to sing another song to you but this time, the piano is white. The same exact piano is used in both scenes.
