Together Megan Fox and Michael Bay made billions at the box office thanks to their work in Transformers. However, despite the success, things went south in their relationship thanks to controversial words made by Megan Fox about her director.

For years, Megan Fox had to clarify those statements, revealing that she was not 'preyed upon' by her former director.

"While I greatly appreciate the outpouring of support, I do feel I need to clarify some of the details as they have been lost in the retelling of the events and cast a sinister shadow that doesn't really, in my opinion, belong."

"I did 'work' (me pretending to know how to hold a wrench) on one of Michael's [Ferraris] during one of the audition scenes," she confirmed. "It was at the Platinum Dunes studio parking lot, there were several other crew members and employees present and I was at no point undressed or anything similar."

Fox went on to address bizarre rumors that she was asked to clean Michael Bay's Ferrari. The actress was quick to shut down those rumors, while making in clear that there wasn't any inappropriate conduct.

"When it comes to my direct experiences with Michael, and Steven for that matter, I was never assaulted or preyed upon in what I felt was a sexual manner," she wrote.

The mess with Michael Bay all started following an interview. At the time, it seemed as though Fox's career might be done because of her harsh comparison.

Speaking alongside Wonderland Magazine, Fox was asked about her experience alongside Michael Bay. Her answer confused many, as she related the director to one of the worst figures in the world.

Fox said, "God, I really wish I could go loose on this one. He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work it."

Fox would go on to reveal how Bay was completely different off the set in real-life scenarios.

"When you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it’s endearing to watch him. He’s vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he’s a tyrant. Shia and I almost die when we make a Transformers movie."

She continues, "He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do."

In the more recent years, Bay would also address Fox's comments claiming there was no truth to any of the bizarre rumors.

"Megan Fox wrote this today. This is a still from her Audition taping 13 years ago. No. She is not washing a car nor in a bikini like the press have falsely said for many years," the 55-year-old director wrote. "And I personally think Megan is fantastic. I’m proud to have worked with her, and still am planning on working with her."

Many wondered if the moment ended Fox's career, but clearly it did not. Fox continues to pile up acting credits, along with various future projects including, The Expendables 4.

As for Michael Bay, his career also continues on with various credits in the future, including producer rights for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
