Ever since the '90s, boy bands have managed to win over the hearts of plenty of fans across the globe — and while their peak has undoubtedly been in that decade, some boy bands still manage to find success today. Eventually, however, most boy bands end up splitting and the musicians continue pursuing solo careers which often tend to be very successful.

Kicking the list off is the boy band NSYNC which consisted of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass. NSYNC rose to fame in 1997 and but by 2002 the five musicians decided to go their separate ways. During the five years that they were active, NSYNC released three studio albums — N Sync in 1997, No Strings Attached in 2000, and Celebrity in 2001.

9 O-Town — 4 Albums

Let's move on to the boy band O-Town which rose to fame in 2000 after being formed from the first season of the reality television show Making the Band. At the time the group consisted of Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood, Dan Miller, and Ashley Parker Angel. The group disbanded in 2003, however they reunited in 2013 without Ashley Parker Angel. O-Town has released four studio albums — O-Town in 2001, O2 in 2002, Lines & Circles in 2014, and The O.T.W.N. Album in 2019.

8 One Direction — 5 Albums

Next on the list is the British boy band One Direction who rose to fame in 2010 after being formed during the singing competition The X Factor. The group consisted of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik.

In 2015 Zayn left the group and a year later the rest of One Direction decided to go on a hiatus in order to pursue solo careers. Over the course of five years, the boy band has released five studio albums — Up All Night in 2011, Take Me Home in 2012, Midnight Memories in 2013, Four in 2014, and Made in the A.M. in 2015.

7 Jonas Brothers — 5 Albums

The Jonas Brothers also made it onto today's list. The boy band — which consists of brothers Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas — rose to fame back in 2006 mostly due to their appearances on the Disney Channel. The Jonas Brothers released four studio albums — It's About Time in 2006, Jonas Brothers in 2007, A Little Bit Longer in 2008, and Lines, Vines and Trying Times in 2009. In 2010 the band decided to go on a hiatus but in 2019 the brothers reunited and they released their fifth studio album titled Happiness Begins.

6 98 Degrees — 6 Albums

Let's move onto another boyfriend from the 90 — 98 Degrees. The boy band consisted of Jeff Timmons, brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, and Justin Jeffre and they rose to fame in 1997 with their debut studio album 98°. Since then 98 Degrees has released five more studio albums — 98° and Rising in 1998, This Christmas in 1999, Revelation in 2000, 2.0 in 2013, and Let It Snow in 2017.

5 New Kids On The Block — 7 Albums

Another famous boy band that made it onto today's list is New Kids on the Block. The band consists of brothers Jonathan and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. New Kids on the Block rose to fame in the late 1980s and ever since they have released seven studio albums — New Kids on the Block in 1986, Hangin' Tough in 1988, Merry, Merry Christmas in 1989, Step by Step in 1990, Face the Music in 1994, The Block in 2008, and 10 in 2013.

4 Take That — 8 Albums

Next on the list is yet another British boy band — this time we're talking about Take That. Take That — which consisted of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen, Jason Orange, and Robbie Williams — rose to fame in 1990 but by 1996 the band decided to go on a hiatus. Eventually, the band reunited however without Robbie Williams, and later on, Jason Orange also decided to say goodbye to the band leaving them as a trio.

The runner-up on today's list is the Irish boy band Westlife which was formed in 1998 and consisted of Shane Filan, Markus Feehily, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, and Brian McFadden. In 2012 the band went on a hiatus and in 2018 they reunited — however without Brian McFadden.
