The three start a podcast to try to link the clues together and figure out the murderer, but that just gets them into more trouble.

Here are the questions we still have after watching how Only Murders In the Building ended. Our jaws are still on the floor!

9 How The Finale Ended

It turns out that Charles' girlfriend, Jan, turned out to be Tim Kono' killer. She poisoned him, then shot him to make it look like a suicide all because he broke up with her two days prior. She also poisoned Charles when he accused her of being the killer, but he got help in time and survives. After the three escape Jan in the boiler room, she gets arrested and Charles is taken to the ER. Bunny, the landlord, agrees to let them stay in the building, as it turns out they did not kill Kono.

Then, it seems as though everyone gets their happy ending... at least for a little bit. Oliver reconnects with his son and dog. Mabel and Oscar are still dating, and Charles reaches out to Lucy- a stepdaughter from a previous relationship. They wrap up the podcast and celebrate with a champagne toast on the roof.

When Charles realizes they run out of champagne, Mabel volunteers to go back to her apartment and get some more... and then the happy endings end. Charles and Oliver receive a 'Get Out Now' text from an unknown number and become even more confused when they hear sirens approaching their beloved apartment complex. The men run inside to go get Mabel and come face to face with her and a dead body in her apartment. "It's not what you think," she said, panicked, with blood all over her. The dead person turns out to be Bunny, who has knitting needles stabbed through her heart. The police show up and arrest the three podcasters.

Before any explanation can be made, the three are walking out of the building in handcuffs with everyone watching. Podcast extraordinaire, Cinda Canning is also out there with her assistant and that's where the episode ends.

8 Who Sent Charles And Oliver The 'Get Out' Text?

After Mabel leaves off the roof, Charles and Oliver receive a 'get out now!!!' text from an unknown phone number. No one knows who sent the text and did everyone else in the building get the same text? Did Mabel get it? Could the text have been from Bunny because she wanted to kick them out of their apartments due to the podcast and suspects of murder. And depending on who sent it, if they were talking about getting out because of the next murder, how did they know?

7 Did Mabel Kill Bunny?

When Charles and Oliver run up to Mabel's apartment, they find her over a dead body with blood on her shirt. She tells them, "It's not what it looks like," and looks panicked. She turns the dead body over to reveal Bunny stabbed in the heart with knitting needles. Mabel told the guys that 'she stumbled in on me.' So, does that mean she was already stabbed and stumbled in trying to catch her balance and then died or she stumbled in and startled Mabel and then stabbed her with the needles? We didn't get any answers because the cops showed up.

6 Why Was Bunny Wearing A Podcast Sweatshirt?

If you had a good eye on the deceased, you would have seen that she was wearing a tie-dyed sweatshirt, the one that looks similar to the one Oscars wears. Except this time, there was a logo on the front. If you had a great eye on her, you would have seen that the logo was for their podcast, which they had made merch for. When the three of them gets taken out in handcuffs, the fans outside are wearing the same hoodie.

So, was Bunny secretly a fan of the podcast? If not, how did she get the hoodie? Was she trying to set Oscar up? Also, if Mabel was just going to get champagne and come back, why was her coat off?

5 How Did The Cops Get There That Fast?

If Mabel had really just stabbed Bunny, then and there, how were the cops already on their way? Someone had to of set them up, right? The cops had already arrested Jan earlier in the day, so it couldn't have been for that. Maybe the same person who sent the 'get out' text called the police. But the question is who and why? What did they know?

4 Where Was Oscar This Whole Time?

We only see Oscar in one scene. After they figure out Jan was the killer, everyone gets their happy ending and Mabel is standing in her apartment with him admiring her paintings. But the rest of the time, you don't see him, which is weird because they live in the same apartment. Also, if he's Mabel's boyfriend, why wasn't he on the roof celebrating with them? But then, he is just magically outside when they get arrested. Something doesn't add up.

3 Who Left The Note On Jan's Door?

By now, we all know Jan killed Tim Kono, because he had broken-up with her, and that Jan had stabbed herself to make herself looks innocent when really, she's just a psychopath. But earlier in the season, there was a note on Jan's door that said, 'I'm watching you.' Since Jan was the killer, it doesn't make any sense, unless she put it there herself or unless she has another secret. That was a plot hole that wasn't really explored. She didn't tell anyone about the note, so it's not like she probably planted it there herself to make her look not guilty.

2 How Did The Cat Really Die?

If you have watched the series, you know along with Tim Kono, another neighbor's cat, Evelyn, died that night. After Jan poisoned Charles, she said she just assumed that Evelyn had drank the poison that leaked out of Tim's drink, but do we know if that is actually true? There could still be another murderer in the building that doesn't like cats ot Evelyn could have died of natural causes.

1 Why And How Was Cinda Canning There?

Cinda Canning is a podcast guru and the person Mabel, Oliver and Charles went to to help their podcast get sponsored and off the ground. She has the number one podcast and was trying to expand hers and look for new ideas. But when the three main characters were taken out in handcuffs, she and her assistant were standing there, along with all of the neighbors, watching them get into the police cars. How did she know they were going to be arrested? How did she get there that quickly? What is she plotting? Was she involved in Bunny's murder? That's how the series ended, so we will have to wait for next season for all the answers.
