The Kardashians are no strangers to finding themselves dragged into some of the craziest rumors you can think of, but one claim that just hasn’t won’t go away is whether or not Khloe Kardashian is actually Robert Kardashian’s daughter.

Since the family’s rise to fame with their hit reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, people have speculated the chances of Khloe not being an actual Kardashian purely because of her facial features and notable bigger size being a sharp contrast to her siblings Kourtney and Khloe.

At first, it was claimed that Kris Jenner shared an affair with her former hairstylist Alex Roldan, who undeniably shares a resemblance to Khloe, but even he denied ever having shared anything more than a working relationship with the famous momager.

Then, a series of reports claimed that, aside from her affair with Todd Waterman, Kris had also been romantically linked to disgraced former NFL player O.J. Simpson. So, is Khloe actually a Kardashian and why has she refused to take a DNA test on TV?

Khloe Kardashian Denies A DNA Test On ‘KUWTK’

On the seventh season premiere of KUWTK in May 2012, which opened with an impressive 2.8 million viewers, Khloe was quizzed about the recent headlines in the press after arriving in Los Angeles to visit her family.

The Good American ambassador had been living in Dallas, Texas at the time since her then-hubby Lamar Odom had transitioned from playing with the Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks.

Khloe clearly wasn’t in a good mood when Kris asked her about her thoughts of taking a DNA test to clear up the media’s supposed fabricated lies once and for all.

"I know all the rumors are absolutely ridiculous,” Kris said. "But I know this is something she needs in order to feel complete.”

The year prior, Kris had released her bombshell memoir, Kris Jenner and All Things Kardashian, where she admitted to cheating on Robert, which ultimately led to the end of her marriage.

Robert’s ex-wife, Jan Ashley, had also come forward and claimed that he was reportedly aware that Khloe was not his daughter but he treated her like his own.

“He would never say in court documents that Khloe wasn't his,” she told Radar Online. “He would never do that to Khloe. He loved her. She's always been treated the same. In fact, he treated her even better than the other kids.”

Robert’s third wife, Ellen Kardashian, echoed similar words, saying that Khloe was actually the daughter of the man Kris was having an affair with, and apparently, everyone in the family knew about it — including Khloe.

Back to the season seven premiere of KUWTK. So, Khloe confided in her mother about the things the press had been writing about her but she was refusing to pay attention to any of it.

This prompted Kris to set up a DNA test for Khloe, along with Kim, Kourtney, and Rob, in a desperate bid to clear the air once and for all. Clearly, Kris had the most to worry about in this case but while the cameras continued to roll, she kept her composure and remained adamant that her daughter does the test.

Perhaps all this was just scripted for their show, to begin with. Kris taking a stance on doing a paternity test is a brave move, but viewers couldn’t exactly tell how genuine the scene was since the Kardashians are known for staging certain scenarios for their reality show.

But when Kris tried to convince Khloe to join her siblings in doing the test, she responded, “Mom, I don't care what they're saying.” “Because everyone is calling me fat, do you want me to go get lipo?” she continued while arguing about the paternity reports of her sporting a fuller figure.

"Seriously, my dad is Robert Kardashian. My other dad is Bruce Jenner," Khloe added. “If you f—ed other people during the same time and you do not know, go on Maury [Povich Show]."

A few days went by before Kris would apologize to Khloe by sending her a letter and making it clear that it wasn’t her intent to be malicious by mentioning the idea of doing a paternity test because she assumed it would give everyone peace of mind.

If the results came back proving that Robert was, indeed, the father, Kris believed that the media would get off Khloe’s back about it, but the latter said she had nothing to prove to nobody.

The mother of one cleared the air with Kris and they decided to drop the idea of doing a paternity test altogether.
