Why Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker Don't Live Together

During an appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast early this October 2022, Kardashian explained why she and Barker don't live together. "I think we're in the place where we're figuring out how to blend our households and our kids," said the Poosh founder.

"For the most part, we're getting those things in place. We do family dinner every Sunday night with all the kids at his house." She added that they still plan on having a joint house but haven't found the right one yet.

"There will be [a joint house]," confirmed the reality star. "We want our kids to also feel really comfortable and they have both lived in their homes their whole lives, for the most part, and they each have their rooms. And we are a block away." They also have an amazing routine that couples might want to take notes from.

"There's still nights when we'll stay at each other's houses in-between," Kardashian said of their arrangement. "But I get up at 6 in the morning and I carpool every morning. And then I go straight to his house and have matcha, he has it ready for me. And then we have matcha and talk and hangout and workout together and then we start our day." Barker also stops by her house every night, "no matter what."

Do Kourtney Kardashian's Kids Get Along With Travis Barker's Kids?

In June 2022, a source told HollywoodLife that Kardashian's kids with Scott Disick — Mason, 12, Penelope,10, and Reign, 9 — get along well with Barker's children by Shanna Moakler: Landon, 19, and Alabama, 16.

"Kourtney has gotten so close with his children. She would never want to take the place of their real mom and she isn't trying to, but there is nothing that she wouldn't do for those kids," said the insider.

At that time, the couple was already in planning mode for their perfect home. "They are thinking now of building their own home, which would be really special because they can create a living space together that suits their exact needs, with plenty of rooms for all of their kids to be comfortable and have their own bathrooms," continued the source. "This would be their forever family home. They would also want to have a place where they could have a baseball field for Reign, as well as other amenities for Travis, such as a complete skate park."

In September, Kardashian said that blending her family with Barker's was easy since they'd all known each other before they started dating. "The more kids, the merrier. It's more people to love. I am really close with Travis' kids and I love them and it's a beautiful thing," she said during a confessional on The Kardashians. "Travis is a really amazing father. It's one of the reasons that I fell in love with him. He is very, very patient. I think because we've all known each other, it does make it easier to blend our families. It's all I could ever want."

Are Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker Planning To Have Kids Of Their Own?

In March 2022, Kardashian said on The Kardashians that she and Barker were trying to have a baby via surrogacy. "Travis and I want to have a baby," she said, jokingly. "We'll take our mics off. You don't get the audio."

But in September, she confessed to WSJ that they'd stopped their IVF journey. "We started an IVF journey, but I stopped. It was a lot. I took a break to just focus on our wedding and getting married," she shared.

During an April episode of their Hulu show, she said: "[It's been] awful. Travis and I want to have a baby and so my doctor took us down this road of doing IVF and it hasn't been the most amazing experience." She added that public speculation about their journey was also stressing her out.

"Every single person on social media is always like, 'Kourtney's pregnant, Kourtney's pregnant, Kourtney's gained so much weight,'" she said. "I'm like, it's so rude to comment on people when you have no idea what they're actually going through." So far, she hasn't clarified if she's still planning to resume IVF treatments in the future.
