Brad Pitt's handsome. Brad Pitt's charming. And Brad Pitt probably smells a little bit.

Yeah, we're exactly blown away by the fact that Brad has a unique perspective on cleaning his body. Who wants to be around someone who smells like B.O.? Well, there's bound to be someone with a fetish. Regardless, it's safe to say that the vast majority of Brad's humungous fanbase would prefer it if he smelled as clean as Monica Gellar's apartment in Friends.

So, why exactly does Brad Pitt only take a shower on occasion?

Brad Pitt is one of the busiest actors in Hollywood. This status is something that he's been fortunate enough to have since his breakthrough role in Thelma & Louise. Even his best friend George Clooney has lost major roles to Brad. But unlike Brad, George knows how to shower. At least, it appears as though he does...

In fact, almost every other extremely busy actor in the business knows how to take care of their personal hygiene. So, what's up with Brad? Why does he have such a hard time turning on the tap and stepping into one of his many incredible showers?

We can only assume that the guy has some of the nicest showers on Earth. He is outlandishly wealthy, after all.

According to his Inglorious Basterd's co-star, Eli Roth, Brad had some pretty crazy showering advice to share with him on set. During Eli Roth's interview with People back in 2009, he claimed that Brad prefers to use baby wipes to wash his filthy body during and after a hard day of work on a movie set.

"[Brad Pitt] shared that when you’re sweating and don’t have time to take a shower [because of work], you just take a baby wipe and rub it under your armpits. After a scene, Brad had to get next to me for a close-up shot, and he said, 'Damn, you’re ripe.' I said, 'I didn’t have time to shower.' He said, 'Baby wipes, man, baby wipes.'"

While Eli Roth seemed to think this is an excellent idea, we can't imagine that all of the fans with Brad Pitt posters in their rooms will be all that thrilled when they learn of this revelation. C'mon, right!?

To be fair, when you're shooting a film such as Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds, you're on a tight schedule and probably sweating a lot. Filming a movie is demanding, lengthy, and you're moving around a lot. Add mother nature's elements (when filming on location) or the heat of the overhead lights (when in-studio) and you're bound to have a sweaty cast. Still... A-list actors such as Brad Pitt tend to have showers in their trailers. But, according to Eli Roth, Brad's anti-shower perspective extends to his personal life.

Fatherhood Is Also A Reason Why Brad Pitt Doesn't Shower Much

Aside from his busy on-set schedule, Brad tends to have an overwhelmed personal life... it's all that adopting he did with Angelina Jolie back in the day.

With his recent custody win, it appears as though Brad will have even less time to shower. According to Eli Roth's 2009 interview with People, Brad told him that fatherhood is another reason why he prefers to use baby wipes instead of stripping off and hopping in the shower.

During a private conversation with Eli on the set of Inglorious Basterds, Brad apparently said, "I got six kids. All you've got to do is just take them, a couple quick wipes under the pits...Man, I'm getting [peed] on all day. I don't have time to take a shower."

This is something that many parents can relate to, but there comes a point where a shower is necessary. Not to mention, someone like Brad can certainly afford to have someone watch his kids for the 15 minutes it would take him to wash himself properly.

Unfortunately for those who lust after hunky celebrities, Brad isn't the only hottie who doesn't wash himself as much as he should. According to CheatSheet, Robert Pattinson and Zac Efron are also guilty of skipping a shower or three.

Much like Brad Pitt, Zac Efron prefers the baby wipe approach to personal hygiene.

Even with this slightly cringe-worthy story circulating, we're sure that Brad does make fairly decent efforts to keep himself presentable. After all, he's a Hollywood star. Very few publicists would let their clients walk out in public looking and smelling like a tire fire. But maybe Brad needs a little more coaxing than other celebrities.
