Had a long week? The Rock can relate.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has been juggling promotion for 'Jungle Cruise' and 'Black Adam' with the dad duties that he takes really seriously. Along with raising daughters to be "little champions," The Rock keeps taking time out of his days to motivate and inspire his massive online fanbase with genuine tips and advice.

This weekend his pep talk had a pretty grim topic: death in the family. Read on to learn what the actor and father of three had to say about life and death as he sat alone after midnight, sipping a tequila.

Some Journeys Ended

"It has been a very long work week, and I'm sure like for many of you who had a long work week it's also been a long life week," he begins in the video posted below.

In personal life terms, The Rock experienced some tragedy (and also, a little bit of joy) in the family.

"We lost a few loved ones this week who came to the end of their journey," he explains. "And ironically, beautifully enough, we gained a new loved one in the form of a little baby boy."

He doesn't say which family members just passed, but he is sure to mention that no, the baby boy is not his own ("I did not have another kid...I don't think I did!").

'You Only Die Once'

"I'll leave you with a great, great quote from a buddy of mine, and his name is Yomiko," The Rock says while preparing his glass of tequila. "You know we always like to say that 'you only live once, you only got one life, so live it to the fullest.' And his perspective was: actually, everytime we open our eyes, we have life."

For anyone sad to see 'YOLO' get dragged like that, don't worry. Yomiko (full name Yomiko Morena, a tattoo artist from Brooklyn) has a new motivational quote that The Rock is loving:

"I love that perspective," The Rock continues, "cause the truth is, everytime we open our eyes we live again, he said. But when we die, we only die once.'"

He's Walking the Talk

Sound a bit morbid? Not to The Rock. This isn't the first time he's turned tragedy into motivation. He's already committed to making every moment count, or as he put it: "living life to the fullest...with love, with fervor, with passion, with empathy, and with humor."

For proof, look no further than these IG posts about treasuring the time he shares with his kids as they grow. Dude's not taking anything for granted!
