Shocking leaked audio from The Talk now suggests Sharon Osbourne was set up to fail by the producers of the show.

As a result of a show-gone-wrong, her reputation is now smeared by racist allegations that sent shockwaves through television and social media. That singular moment in time proved to be too much for Osbourne to bear, leading to her resignation from the show two weeks later.

Fans are now hearing first-hand that Sharon's peers don't believe she's racist at all, and there's a hint of bad blood and ill intentions cascading from the executives that pull the strings.

Based on the newly surfaced audio, it appears Sharon Osbourne was targeted and set up for ratings, in a ploy that perhaps got out of hand and went too far.

The Leaked Audio

Celebrities forget their microphones turned on from time to time, often leading to embarrassing moments, and the breach of their own privacy as they unknowingly carry on with their private discussions, unaware that they're still being recorded.

This time, the hot mic that was left on has captured what seems to be a set up that was orchestrated by the powers-that-be on the set of The Talk.

The mic records as Elaine Welteroth speaks to Osbourne and consoles her after a jaw-dropping accusation is made about her being a racist. Welteroth can be heard comforting Osbourne and saying that she knows she isn't a racist and doesn't believe any of the accusations made against her in the explosive March 10th episode with Sheryl Underwood.

While in the dressing room, Welteroth can be heard saying; "“Sharon, I’m just so sorry that that went the way that it went." She goes on to describe knowing that Sharon was going to discuss Pierce Morgan's comments about Meghan Markle, but had no idea the conversation was going to "go south." “It’s so f–ked up, It’s so f–ked up," says Welteroth.

The Shocking Set Up

The mic picks up her voice clearly as she says; "I know you’re upset. It was terrible. I just hope you know when that once this blows over that you know that Sheryl is your friend. She really is your friend, she doesn’t think you’re racist. I don’t think you’re racist. No one who knows you would ever say that or think that.”

Welteroth goes on to say CBS 'set up' Osbourne, called the situation 'inhumane' and revealed that that "showrunners wanted her to deliver the question that sparked the explosive on-air debate."

Welteroth could be heard saying; "They asked me to ask that question, I said, no I'm not going to ask that question. I said, wait, what's the intention of this conversation? Because this could go left so fast," and she then goes on to say "I said to them: 'This is going to be a train wreck.'"

Osbourne was clearly emotional throughout the recording, crying and saying, “They don’t care that I will now have to go around and [have] people think I’m racist. They don’t give a s–t. They just want ratings. That’s all.”
