Some summers are just Too Hot to Handle for some lovers because another couple has called it quits. That's right, Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey are over. The show has been the talk of this quarantine. However, the drama is getting bigger out of the set. Following the split news of Bryce Hirschberg and Nicole O'Brien, as she found love after the cameras stopped rolling, there's another duo that has a breakup story to share.

The show revolves around eliminating s*xual contact between all contestants for a prize of $100,000. Filming wrapped about a year ago. However, many of the relationships formed on the show and even after filming stopped, are beginning to crumble. Fans are sad after hearing the news that the show's sweetheart couple didn't succeed. Here are all the details of their relationship and the truth about Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey's breakup.

Fake Proposal

It seems as though Francesca and Harry just couldn't take the heat after recently getting fake engaged over a Zoom interview. She didn't give her answer on camera, but it appeared to be smooth sailing for this otherwise happy couple.

Francesca clarified if she did actually say yes to his question, saying, "Everyone's been asking, 'Are you engaged?' Like I asked him, 'Are we engaged?' And he's like, 'I asked you to marry me.' So I don't know like, I think it definitely needs to be done in person. In like a proper proposal. So as of right now, we're not engaged.'"

Madly in Love

Back in April 2020, while speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Harry said, "After the show, everything was like a roller coaster, and we actually broke up for a few months. We took a break, and then a few months ago, I got drunk in L.A. and texted her that I wanted to FaceTime her dog."

He continued saying, "We dated a few people in between, both of us, and I even said to the last girl I dated, I was like, 'Hey, look, I'm still madly in love with my ex, and I'm so sorry, but we can't do this.' And here we are, better than ever!"

On the other hand, Francesca had some words of her own, saying, "It's actually crazy to think about because the circumstances that we met are unlike any other. I think we are going to be connected for life." She added, "It's hard being away from him because he is in Los Angeles and I am in Vancouver. But once this quarantine is over, we are going to move in together, and it's going to be amazing and magical. We are going to get married and have kids!"

It sounds like a match made in Mexico resort heaven because that's where the show was filmed. Unfortunately, that didn't end up happening, and neither did Harry's plans to work out the actual proposal. He said, "I was going to surprise her and propose. I accidentally told her that was my plan from Day 1. I legitimately am so much happier when I'm around her and having her in my life."

Painful Breakup

In a YouTube video posted on Francesca's channel, she addressed the status of her relationship head-on, saying: "Harry and I are not together anymore. He decided to break up with me because he couldn't do long distance anymore. I obviously was heartbroken. I did everything I could."

She went on to say that Harry wasn't ready to announce the breakup due to accusations Harry felt were floating around about the two.

Francesca went on to say that she didn't want to speak out either because she felt that they were going to get back together and get married. She even went on to allude to the fact that maybe Harry wasn't as faithful as he let on to be.

Cheating Accusations

The actress said, "There was a lot of rumors that came up that turned out to be true. I was getting sent a lot of screenshots and messages. I didn't want to believe it because how could you have a wedding ring folder with someone, and how could you propose to someone, but you're also saying I can't be with you because of the distance. It makes me feel like I was being played."

As far as Harry's side of the story, he put a countdown up on Instagram stories to let fans know the truth about the breakup. He shared a quick video in which he wrote, "Sucks to see this turn into a reason to publicly beat down on someone, relationships don't always work out. It doesn't feel right to be made a joke of, especially to someone that you loved."

A couple of months ago, Francesca and Harry reunited in Mexico. However, the Netflix star regretted reuniting with her ex-boyfriend as she revealed to the Too Tired To Be Crazy podcast that she decided to "stupidly trust him for the 700th time." One thing is clear: although they saw each other, things between them haven't improved.
