Thanks to her booming makeup company, Kylie Jenner’s fortune has skyrocketed over the years — in fact, according to Forbes, she’s the publication youngest self-made billionaire who made over $590 million in 2020 alone.

On top of that, Kylie makes around $1 million per sponsored post on Instagram and collected $5 million per year for her involvement on E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which also makes her one of the highest-paid reality stars.

So with all that money coming in, trust and believe that the mother of one certainly knows how to spend her hard-earned millions. But what are three of the most expensive things Kylie has bought herself in recent years?

Kylie Jenner’s California Mansion

The 23-year-old made headlines in April 2020 when she reportedly spent $36.5 million on a swanky new property in Holmby Hills, California.

The seven-bedroom home, which is branded as a “resort,” comes with an enormous kitchen, 14 bathrooms, a personal gym, a home theater, spa, and a bar, to name a few.

While its original asking price was said to have been $45 million, Kylie and her mother, Kris Jenner, negotiated a deal that saved them almost $10 million. Not bad, right?

If you’ve been “keeping up” with Kylie on social media, you’d have seen her spend most of her time in quarantine at the newly-purchased house, which must cost a fortune in upkeep and maintenance costs, but it’s not like the cosmetics mogul can’t afford it.

A Really Expensive Gift For Stormi

In July 2020, reports claimed that Kylie had spent a whopping $200,000 on a pony from the Netherlands for her daughter, Stormi Webster.

Daily Mail’s sources revealed how the KUWTK star spent up to $10,000 for the pony to be flown over from Europe to Los Angeles, while the animal itself came with a hefty price tag that only the richest celebs wouldn’t mind spending a fortune on.

"#ThrowbackThursday goes to the most famous pony of them all, Frozen,” breeder Stal Wilten wrote on his Instagram page. We got news he has landed in LA and is living the life with a sweet little girl named Stormi. @kyliejenner, in true fashion, made sure her daughter had the most precious pony out there.”

When news broke about Kylie splurging her daughter with a $200k pony, many people felt she was “out of touch” with reality given that no child really needs to have their own horse at the age of 2 — which is a fair point.

On Twitter, fans were quick to share their thoughts.

“Honestly Stormi probably said one time ‘I want a pony’ and she got one,” one person wrote. “She’s 2 years old. Frozen will probably give a handful of pony rides before the kid loses interest and the Wiltons made 200,000 on sending their famous pony to an extravagant retirement home.”

Another Twitter user chimed in, “You could buy a house most places with the money @KylieJenner just spent on a pony for her daughter...it’s cute. But it hurts... $200K…”

Following the backlash that came with the news of Kylie spending all that money on a pony, Wilten removed her name from his Instagram post. Had he never posted about it, fans would’ve never known about the entrepreneur’s decision to buy a super expensive animal in the midst of a pandemic.

One Luxury Ride Is Obviously Not Enough

Other expensive purchases Kylie has made over the years include her $350,000 Lamborghini Aventador, a $140,000 Mercedes Benz G-Wagon, a $200,000 Mercedes Maybach, and a $222,000 Ferrari 458 Spyder.

Clearly, the reality star has a lot of money to spend. She’s so rich that even Kylie’s sisters joke about her wealth in their group chats.

During an appearance on Ellen in 2020, the Kylie Cosmetics founder quipped: “It’s only when we’re in a group chat talking about where we should go for a trip, everyone’s like, ‘Kylie? You going to pay for it?’ But they’re all really proud of me for sure."

In March 2019, Kylie told Interview Germany that her business was created with the money she earned on her own — she didn’t have investors or her sisters giving her a loan to jumpstart her makeup business, which has made the journey to such success all the more rewarding.

"That is the category that I fall under. Although, I am a special case because before I started Kylie Cosmetics, I had a huge platform and lots of fans,” she said. “I did not get money from my parents past the age of 15. I used 100 percent of my own money to start the company, not a dime in my bank account is inherited… and I am very proud of that.”
