Although Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher may be one of Hollywood's cutest couples, people have been questioning their parenting habits. Kunis and Kutcher are far from perfect, like any other parent, but because they are in the spotlight, things they say are sometimes taken out of context.

Kunis recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and the topic of her children's bathing habits was brought up and how it was made into a Hollywood bathing debate. "It's so dumb," she said, clearly over the whole thing.

The whole thing started when she and Kutcher were on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, with Kristen Bell, over the Summer. The topic of bathing themselves and their children came up and the whole thing just spiraled from there. Now, this doesn't mean they are bad parents, but what else do they do that some parents would not agree with? Here's are the details of Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's parenting that have been revealed recently.

9 Their Children

Years after Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher played Jackie and Kelso on That '70s Show, they realized they loved each other and started dating in 2012. They got engaged in February 2014 and had their first child, a daughter named Wyatt Isabelle in October 2014. Then, they got married in July 2015. One year later, Kunis gave birth to their son, Dimitri Portwood. They live in a farmhouse in Beverly Hills, and the actors tend to keep their children out of the spotlight and off social media.

8 Bathing Habits

This whole thing started when the couple went on their friend Dax Shepard's podcast, and they started talking about their children's bathing habits. She admitted that they only wash their young children if they see dirt on them and only use soap if they need it. Kunis revealed she never showered much as a child, and later said she takes a shower every day but does not wash her hair every day. But she revealed on Ellen that it was COVID, they didn't leave the house much, so who cares? The couple baths their dogs more often than their children.

7 Feeding Their Kids

During her time co-hosting with Ellen, Kunis revealed that there were times when she would forget to feed her kids. “My intent every day is to bathe my children. I wake up every day and I’m like, ‘Today I’m going to shower my kids.’ And then bedtime happens, and I forgot to feed them and it’s just…” she told the talk show host.

When the interview ended, Kunis said she felt like she didn't make the story any better. DeGeneres joked, "Yeah. Because you confesssed you forget to feed your kids." Kunis exclaimed, "Oh God!" and told the audience she feeds her children.

6 Arts And Crafts

Earlier this year, Kunis spoke to Extra about how she and Kutcher are navigating parenting their 4 and 6-year-old during the lockdown. She revealed that they turned to arts and crafts.

"We've done every craft humanly possible. We've now allocated trash as crafts… so we have a thing called Happy Trash. You guys can take that and run with it," she said. The actress added that Happy Trash is when you run out of things to do, you give your kids recyclables, and they can make anything they want out of it like a robot or a town.

5 Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher Are Goofy Parents

Kutcher joked on the podcast, Teach Me Something New with Brit Morin, that he and Kunis are "goofy parents." They are silly at home and are "very goofy at home, but that don't have skill." Kunis added that it could just be them being idiots. But she said that could just be them being comfortable with themselves.

“I think we’re very comfortable with ourselves acting a fool at home, but maybe that comes from the idea of being comfortable in your own body, and in your own skin, and in your mind and not having a fear of making a fool of yourself.”

4 Life Stories

While on Brit Morin's podcast, Teach Me Something New, the That '70s Show alum, opened up about their family life. Their daughter would always want to hear stories about their lives, which is something Kutcher is really good at telling. But once they ran out of stories, they had to make things up. However, the couple took it as an opportunity to teach their children valuable life lessons, like good sportsmanship.

3 Kutcher's Parenting Styles

Even though they may consider themselves goofy parents, Kutcher and Kunis' parenting styles are vastly different. On a May 2020 appearance on Live With Kelly And Ryan, the couple praised each other's parenting styles, amongst the lockdown. Kunis told the talk show hosts, "I am not a good teacher. But my husband is fantastic at it. I think that's something I've learned about you: You're really good at explaining things." Kutcher followed up her comments saying that he is a "focus on one thing at a time" kind of person.

2 Kunis' Parenting Style

Kutcher added in that interview that his wife is a "great multitasker" who can have "12 drawers open at the same time and somehow manage the whole thing." That seems to be a mom thing -- balancing multiple things at once, especially when you have more than one kid.

Kunis also always tries to make sure she is saying positive things to her children. Like if she has to go to work, she doesn't complain about it, and so when they grow up, they don't view working as something bad. They both tag team with their kids, making sure they aren't both working at the same time.

1 Their Response To The Public's Reactions

The parents of two seem to just be laughing it off. Kunis called all of it dumb when she was interviewed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. They don't seem to be affected by anyone's comments and will continue to live their life and parent their children how they want to. After all, no one will see how they parent inside of their own homes. So, if they're careful about what they say from now on, no one should have a problem with it.

Kutcher also posted a video on his Instagram poking fun of the whole debate. "You're putting water in our children?" he asked his wife. "Are you trying to melt them?" Kunis was seen laughing in the video after telling him that she was bathing the children.
