The Giudice girls are the four daughters of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and ex-husband Joe Giudice; Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. We were first introduced to them back when the show first hit our screens in 2009. Gia, the oldest at 8 seemed wise beyond her years if a little moody and precocious. Gabriella was the quiet, sensible one, Milania the loud one who was a handful, and Audriana was just a twinkle in her mom and dad's eye.
Now, 12 years later, so much has happened to these girls. They've had to watch first their mom and then their dad serve prison terms for fraud, followed by their dad being deported back to Italy. All in a very public arena, watched by millions. It can't have been easy on them but throughout it all, they have had each other and a loving, supportive family. We know about the scandal and the family, but what do we know about the girls themselves?
10 Gia Was Named After Her Grandfather
The name Gia Giudice has a beautiful ring to it. What some don't know is that the name Gia is taken from the name of 20-year-old Gia's beloved grandfather, or 'Nonno', Giacinto, Teresa's father. Giacinto sadly died last year, aged 76, after a long illness and following the death of his wife, Antonia, three years prior. Antonia is the name given to her cousin. The name Gia means "God's gracious gift."
9 Gabriella Is An Honors Student
Gabriella, 17, has always been known as 'the quiet one' out of the Giudice sisters. She is also pretty low-key on social media and seen as more reclusive. Her Instagram account is the only one that is private. However, they say still waters run deep and Gabriella has a lot to be proud of. Currently an Honors student with 100% attendance, proud mom Teresa told Page Six: "She’s, like, super smart. She’s amazing. She’s in all honors classes. So I think she’s going to be able to get into any school she wants.” Gabriella is currently blonde, like her older sister, Gia.
8 Milania Has Had A Makeover
Milania, now 15, recently dropped 40lbs in weight after mom Teresa arranged for a nutritionist to come to the house and work on her macros and they teamed up with a meal prep company called Brielle. Milania has always had a confident personality, now she seems more confident with her appearance too. Beautiful either way but congrats, Milania, great job.
7 Audriana Is A Dancer
Audriana, the youngest daughter aged 12, loves yoga and competitive dancing. She has competed in several dance competitions. Another straight-A student, Teresa proudly gushed on social media: "Not sure how I got so lucky! Audriana is so dedicated to her dancing, she’s a superstar! She does all this while maintaining perfect grades in school! I am so so so proud of you Audriana!"
6 Gia Is Studying To Be A Lawyer
Gia chose to study law at Rutgers University, New Jersey. This decision no doubt inspired by her mom and dad's legal woes and the decision to deport her dad back to Italy, where he was born, having moved to the US aged one but never getting citizenship. Gia even organized a petition to help her dad and appeal against the decision. Since his deportation, Gia has gotten a tattoo with a dove meaning they are 'only a flight away' from each other and the words 'sempre insieme' meaning always together, thought to be to honor her late grandparents.
5 Gabriella Has A Famous Lookalike
Fans of the show are convinced Gabriella looks like the famous daughter of another Real Housewife, supermodel Bella Hadid. All of the sisters are beautiful. Whilst Gia and Gabriella are blonde and blue-eyed, Milania and Audriana rock the long dark curls like their mom. Many fans say Gabriella has a different look to the other Giudice sisters, maybe she s a supermodel in the making!
4 Milania Is Best Friends With Her Cousin Antonia
Fans of the show may remember when Teresa and brother Joe fell out that the Gorga and the Giudice girls were upset they couldn't play together, especially Milania and Joe and Melissa Gorga's daughter, Antonia. Happily, both families made up and the girls were able to get together for playdates and are still close to this day.
3 Audriana Couldn't Remember Her Dad
Audriana was just a young girl when first mom then dad went to jail. Her dad Joe was sentenced to over 3 years in prison and then deported. Gia said that when she was showing Audriana pictures of her and her father to jog her memory Audriana got upset because she couldn't remember. Hopefully, Audriana can build new memories with her dad on the various trips they take together outside of the US, including Italy and, more recently, the Bahamas.
2 Gia's 'Sad Song' From RHONJ Went Viral
Gia wrote and performed a song at her sister's birthday, crying as she did so. It was a song about how she felt about her mom and uncle Joey and aunt Melissa fighting. Whilst Joey cried listening to it, fans had mixed reactions from sympathy to all-out cringing. But it would seem no one cringed more than Gia herself as it got replayed as she got older. However, now Gia has embraced the song after it has recently gone viral thanks to remixes and mentions on TikTok and by stars such as Will Smith and Cardi B!
1 Gia Confronted Jackie Over 'That' Analogy
Who can forget when Teresa started rumors on RHONJ at Jackie's husband's birthday that he had been unfaithful. Jackie, whilst trying to get Teresa to understand how hurtful that was by using an analogy with words to the effect of 'how would you feel if I said what about the rumor of Gia doing coke at parties?' Teresa was incandescent with rage and this almost sparked an all-out war between the two housewives. Gia handled it in a mature fashion, getting the analogy but still confronted Jackie about it.
