Although in reality, Better Call Saul was really a prequel. The show was based on Walter White's attorney Saul Goodman, except it was shot in the future before Breaking Bad even happened. 13 Will Walter White Be in it?

We don't know. Bryan Cranston, who played Walter White in the series would not say if he was going to be involved or not. True fans of the show have to hope so, because Walter White was truly one of the most fascinating characters in the history of television, as fans of the show will tell you.

12 The Show Was Originally on AMC

Although the show originally aired on the television channel AMC the movie is set to air on Netflix, which now owns rights to the show. 9 Vince Gilligan Approached Aaron Paul With the Idea

There have been rumors of a Breaking Bad sequel starting way back in 2013. The shows creator Vince Gilligan approached Aaron Paul with the idea in 2017 to get things started. And of course, Paul said yes, what actor would ever say no to a role as good as this one? That would be insane.

Vince Gilligan is also known for his work on another incredibly popular show, the X-Files. When he wrote episodes for the X-Files as well as Breaking Bad, he almost always had other people working with him on scripts, but for the Breaking Bad sequel, he wrote the script alone until he was willing to show it to other people.

7 El Camino

The El Camino in the title of the movie refers to the car that Jesse drives away in after the last episode of Breaking Bad. If it seems like the title of the movie doesn't mean a whole lot, that's because it doesn't It's obvious that Gilligan chose the name in large part because he was trying to keep things secretive.

6 Lots of Networks Passed on the Original Show

While it's kind of hard to believe at this point, many networked passed on Breaking Bad. Some of the networks that did were HBO, FX, Showtime, and TNT. You have to wonder what executives that passed on Breaking Bad still have their jobs. You know if they still do then they are kicking themselves.

5 The Network Originally Didn't Want Bryan Cranston

Although it's not clear if Cranston will be in the movie, perhaps as a part of a flashback, one thing that is clear is that originally the network didn't want him to star. It's kind of understandable when you think about it, the thing he was best known for before Breaking Bad was Malcolm in the Middle.

4 Jesse Pinkman Was  Supposed to Have Been a Minor Character

It's kind of hard to believe that the Breaking Bad movie is going to be all about Jesse Pinkman because originally he was supposed to not last beyond season one. Pinkman was supposed to be killed off but the relationship between him and Walter White became one of the focal points of the show.

3 Will the DEA be Involved?

This might sound like a funny question, but they were involved with the original series. The DEA signed on to teach people on the show how to cook meth correctly. While it seems that they won't be needed for the sequel, one never knows. Maybe the DEA will make a guest appearance.

2 Is Jesse Going to say the B-Word?

If you think of Jesse Pinkman when he is feeling kind of salty, you know he sometimes calls people a word that starts with the letter B and is the name for a female dog. He said it over 50 times during the run of Breaking Bad. I would bet he is going to say it at least a few times during the movie.

1 How Many People Will Die?

Over the course of the show, 270 people died. Some people might think that's a lot, but if you saw the show, maybe you think it isn't that many. Still, we have to wonder, how many will die during the sequel? Of course, it's going to be a lot shorter, but as we all know movies always do things bigger than TV shows.
