He might be among the elite today, however, at the start of his career, things were very different.
Henry Cavill struggled to get noticed and major roles were passing him by. He had a chance to star in '007', though he was deemed as unfit to place James Bond.
He turned that failure into a success, not only landing 'Superman', a film that changed his career, but in the process, he also completely changed his physique, focusing on training and healthy eating.
As his stardom grew, his ego did not, this is what fans love about the actor - he has remained humble, despite all the attention he gets.
One star, in particular, can attest to this, while shooting alongside Cavill, she felt uncomfortable with the intimate scenes, due to Cavill's, let's just say, charming looks and great physique.

A Love Scene Gone Wrong
On the flip side, Cavill had a tough experience during a particular scene. At the very least, this took place early on in his Hollywood journey.
Now he didn't release the name of his co-star for the particular incident, though he didn't hold back with the details of what went down.
“It’s only happened to me once, and it was very embarrassing,” Cavill told Men’s Fitness.
“A girl had to be on top of me, she had spectacular breasts, and I hadn’t rearranged my — stuff into a harmless position. She’s basically rubbing herself all over me and, um, yea."
Henry admitted that physical scenes of that nature are pretty uncomfortable to shoot. He also apologized constantly after the moment took place... not his best moment.
Despite the hiccup, it didn't deter his career in any way, and in fact, the incident that would take place was in the 'Superman' film.
The Moment Took Place In 'Batman Vs Superman'
The moment took place in a high-budget film that featured established actors, 'Batman Vs Superman'.
Cavill changed his career with the franchise, as it opened so many new doors for his career. Cavill takes the role very seriously, he carries it outside of the studio as well.
"With a character like that, you carry the mantle with you offset. And it becomes part of your public representation. When you meet children, children don’t necessarily see me as Henry Cavill, but they might see Superman, and there’s a responsibility that comes with that."
"Because it’s such a wonderful character, it’s actually a responsibility I’m happy to have, and I hope that I get to play more of Superman in years to come."

He takes it very seriously and as it turns out, one of his co-stars on the film got a bit of stage fright, when she saw Cavill's look without a shirt.
Amy Adams Felt Self-Conscious
Fans would think a gorgeous actress like Amy Adams doesn't get self-conscious, however, once she saw a shirtless Henry Cavill, it all changed.
"I don’t know why him shirtless makes me have low self-esteem but that’s exactly what it did."
Adams admitted to trying and hit the gym a few weeks before to keep up with her co-star, however, in her view, it clearly wasn't enough.
Things got difficult when it came to the intimate scene, Adams admits to freezing up under pressure.
"It was the weirdest [thing] - why would I take that choice at that moment? I was mortified, I was like "Henry I’m so sorry."
After the film, Adams made light of the situation. She admitted that her entire family crushed on her co-star during the film.
"I objectified poor Henry," the actress reveals. "I had to apologize to him at one point. I’m like, 'I promise I’m not that pervy.' He’s just so good to look at. My husband likes to look at him, our daughter likes to look at him…"
"We’re just a creepy family.’ At least they're a creepy family with excellent taste in men. "In between shots it was like, 'Put on a robe please, and make everyone feel less bad about themselves!"
Despite the awkward moment, Cavill had a blast alongside Adams. He was nothing but positive when speaking about her alongside MTV.
"She's a brilliant, wonderful actress! She's incredible. She's an extraordinarily accomplished young lady — and gorgeous and full of energy and spirit."
It all turned out to be just fine.
