The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills never fails to give fans lots of fabulous moments and that's why it's such a big, beloved part of the Real Housewives franchise. From Erika Girardi's best outfits to Lisa Vanderpump's epic Villa Rosa mansion, there is a lot of sophiscation and elegance on the series.

But the show is sometimes about family drama, too. Fans know that Kyle Richards has had tough times with her family, and Kyle and Kim Richards fought for a long time. And there was an original vision for the series that fans should know about and it was all about Kyle. Let's take a look.

The Start Of 'RHOBH'

Fans wonder if Kyle wanted Kathy to join her on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. And as it turns out, maybe Kathy would have joined the show much sooner, at least according to the original concept for the reality series.

Andy Cohen talked about the origins of RHOBH on Watch What Happens Live and according to Cheat Sheet, Andy said, "The Housewives of Beverly Hills almost didn't happen. It was almost a show around Kim, Kathy and Kyle."

Andy asked, "Right, Kyle?" and Kyle said, "That's right."

Paul Scheer, who loves Bravo and is also a comedian, appears on WWHL sometimes and talks about how much he enjoys the Real Housewives franchise. He appeared in this episode as well and he answered questions from fans.

Paul shared how much he loves Kyle's sister Kathy Hilton and said, "I live for Kathy" and continued, "She gives me life. I just want a spin-off of her just watching her catch her messages on her phone."

It makes a lot of sense that the reality show was going to be about Kathy, Kim, and Kyle, as Kyle and Kathy proven over the years that they are reality TV gold. And fans would definitely love the opportunity to see all three sisters on the show together.

Fans are really enjoying watching Kathy Hilton on season 11 of RHOBH. According to a fan's post in a Reddit thread, they think she's "a great addition" and "hilarious." Another fan wrote, "I’m slightly obsessed with her, she’s very eccentric in the best way."

Seasons 1 and 2 really focused on Kyle and Kim's connection. While Kim was a huge part of the show for the first few seasons, she ultimately left the show.

According to Entertainment Tonight Online, Kyle said that Kim wasn't going to be in any season 8 episodes. Kyle said, “You know, she's got a lot of stuff going on in her personal life. She, I think, didn't want to do that … maybe it's a little too intense, so she's happy doing what she's doing right now.”

Kyle Richards On 'RHOBH'

The first season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills was definitely much more difficult and intense to watch than season 11, even though, of course, the show has featured some tense, dramatic moments about Erika Girardi's divorce.

Back at the beginning of the show, Kyle and her sister Kim fought about Kim's alcoholism, and they argued in a limo, which became known as a famous scene.

Kyle feels badly that their conflict was filmed for the show: according to Us Weekly, the reality star explained, “The events that transpired that evening were quite unfortunate and should never have occurred on or off camera. There are a lot of elements to the story that viewers didn't see. This has been difficult for our entire family as we both said and did things that we regret. My sister and I love each other very much we want to move forward and put this behind us.”

Kathy Hilton

Kathy Hilton shared that Kim and Kyle's limo fight was upsetting for her and she didn't watch RHOBH after that scene. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Kathy said, “I don’t watch the show … I did up until [Kyle Richards and Kim Richards] big fight, and then that was it. The big limo fight. That was it for me," according to Us Weekly.

Kathy Hilton explained that she was thrilled to be on the show so she could see more of Kyle and she believes that being co-stars has helped them, which is so sweet.

While it would have been great to watch a reality show focused on Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, and Kathy Hilton, it seems fair to say that fans are glad that The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills came into being instead, as the show is so beloved.
