7 It Was Photographed By Mert And Marcus

The 'New Rules' singer posed effortlessly in the photographs of the Versace FW 2021 campaign. Modelling effortlessly for the campaign, Lipa was photographed by "Versace veterans" Mert Atlas and Marcus Piggott.

The high-fashion photographers have been working together for over twenty-five years and are know for their work being "an incredible use of often hyperreal colour and light" evidently seen in Lipa's Versace images. They have been featured in a number of leading-edge publications, such as many different editions of Vogue, Vanity Fair and W, just to name a few. The duo have worked with a variety of celebrities including Madonna and Nicki Minaj and have as well worked with some of the most adored fashion houses in the world such as, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Givenchy.

6 Dua Lipa Is A Huge Fan Of Versace

Even before being chosen as the face of this year's Versace Fall/Winter campaign, Dua Lipa has been honouring the brand for years. Lipa has been captured wearing a great deal of Versace numbers to red carpet events, for instance, she wore "a printed Versace gown to the 2019 Met Gala and a sheer butterfly dress from them to this year's Grammy Awards." She even has included pieces from the fashion house in her music videos, 'Levitating,' 'Don't Start Now,' and 'New Rules,'  which feature garments "from the brand's runway."  Lipa is not only loyal to the brand when seen in public though, she frequently posts her outfits to her Instagram, many of the posts showcasing Versace items.

5 She Has Red Hair In The Campaign

The hair colour has also been seen on Gigi Hadid "for the video presentation of the fall collection" and Donatella wanted to include the same colour of hair on Lipa as it is "a symbol of passion and strength."  The hair colour was accompanied by "a set of choppy bangs by the hairstylist Paul Hanlon."

4 She Sports The Brand's Newest Print

A large part about this campaign, aside from Dua Lipa stunningly representing the brands newest advertisement, is Versace's new and improved La Greca print. The La Greca print is in fact one of the brand's classic patterns though, it "has been enlarged in scale, made three-dimensional and embellished with an array of bright shades" the brand states. The Fall/Winter campaign images of Dua wearing the new La Greca print along with the pops of colours are "expected to amplify the label's identity."

2 The Outfits Are Colorful

With Versace's famous La Greca pattern improved, Lipa rocks the upgraded design alongside vivid colours not just radiating from her red, almost,  copper hair. She is photographed "wearing a yellow dress with a sweetheart neckline, a geometric co-ord, and a red cropped top." The unconventional style of the FW collection does not stop there as another image shows Dua wearing "incredible platforms and leather headscarves" writes Dazed.com. Though, the collection does keep to Fall and Winter's typical neutral pattern seen in fashion during these seasons, the brand wanted to still keep to its classic Versace style with, "bright pops of red, pink and yellow," which adds "a playful nature to mini dresses and accessories."

1 The Makeup Was Done By Lisa Eldridge

The Grammy Award-Winner modelled for the brand in a natural-looking makeup look with a pop of colour on her lips. The makeup was done by celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge. Although, being one of the most loved makeup artists to the stars, Eldridge also brought her expertise to Youtube, being "one of the most detailed and trustworthy beauty ‘gurus’ on the platform." Lisa Eldridge commonly does Dua's makeup and fantastically brought her extreme skill and art to Versace's campaign.
